Serviced my boiler last 3 years always good level of service

7 months later and still waiting for them to resolve the problem they found. Been chasing and chasing and they don't respond. Given one final chance to resolve the issue after countless emails to hopefully try rectify.

I have bought a new home and have been told to just accept obvious faults as “normal”. I also found Steve and David (owners) to be somewhat dismissive & flippant. Refusal to speak directly after a period of time despite having started direct conversation, but then providing inaccuracies to the builder Bellway Homes instead. Being told to my face in my own home that there is a problem, only for the company to write to the builder and say that there is not a problem. I must also note that I have had a flood in the kitchen! I was told that a part that had to be replaced in my toilet on 3 occasions was “notoriously problematic” by the fitter. I was also told that another problematic part I currently have was “Chinese”, what does that mean? I may well have to bring in a different plumber to make good if the Builders don’t help resolve the issue. I will add that the plumbers who attended the home where polite and on time.

The experience you get will depend on what plumber from the company attends your house!! A couple of months ago we had a really nice plumber from the company who couldn’t of been more help! Today they sent the little old man with ATTITUDE again who has attended before! If you end up with this man attending good luck that’s all I will say as you will need it!!

This company has provided heating and plumbing installations for our new build property in Essex. We were covered under warranty.I dont know whether if it's because they are obliged to fix problems due to the NHBC requirements, so try to do so quickly , but I have experienced a number of issues on their side including but not limited to:Unable to diagnose smell from a bathroom after 4 visitsUnable to diagnose a faulty valve on water cylinder, blaming problem on a smart thermostat. This eventually led to hot water being chucked out of the cylinder as the valve was not closing properly, which SHOULD have gone down a relief pipe, which also wasn't installed properly and hence caused a leak through the floor to the bedroom below. Independent party came and diagnosed the problem quickly and easilyUnable to install plugs on sinks properly! Entire building had to be redoneDamaging replacement heaters delivered under warranty and disputing that they even attended to install.If I was spending my own money, I would personally use someone else everytime.

We originally used Richardson & Rothwell to install a new boiler and associated pipework. We were very happy with the professional yet friendly service we received. Since then we have had the boiler serviced every year by them and they have assisted us with outdoor tap installations, pipework re-routing and fault finding in our hot water heating system. We have been very happy with their service and prices. We would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.
