Great pub to have a big meal and a load of drinks watching sport! This place is ideal for a family meal or a group going out for a laugh!

Just moved into the area and thought we would make a trip down to our local and we were not disappointed. Food was top draw, very tasty, the service was A* (got asked if everything is ok, over five times, easily) not forgetting the great family atmosphere in the restaurant section. I really like lunch at the Oadby Owl. The restaurant / pub was lovely and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was great and really enjoyable. It was good value too. It also has outdoor seating, which is nice in warm weather.

The place was clean and welcoming, and the staff were very helpful. However, the food I ordered was bland and (for my fussy taste) inedible. Though the manager was very good at dealing with my concerns. I left feeling underwhelmed.

My wife (who is a coeliac and requires gluten free food), and I were pleasantly surprised by our dining experience at The Oadby Owl. The menu was varied. The quality of the food, the cost per meal, portion size, and service was very good. Gluten free options were available. Staff were friendly and professional. The premises were clean, tidy and well maintained. Toilets were clean. Plenty of car parking spaces. I have no hesitation in recommending this establishment.

The service was excellent, and the food was great. For pub food, they had a good menu and reasonably priced. Joking with the man serving us, I forgot to take photos.

Hungry horse food is always good & this pub keeps up with that. Staff are friendly & good prices. Only reason for 4 stars is drinks machine is not working & toilets could be a little cleaner (toilets smelt & water all over the floor)

Staff were brilliant pite. Food was terrible ordered mixed grill more like mixed rubber sausages were bouncy and felt like I was chewing rubber. Gammon steak was tasteless.steak was leathery. Chicken watery.chips were nice. Onion rings burnt.Wont be going back . do not reccomrnd the place. Gone downhill.

Came here on Sunday night for some food and drink. There were plenty of seats available and wasn’t really busy which was actually nice and more enjoyable. Staff were very friendly and food and drink came out quickly after ordering. Ranked down a star because the stuffing balls on the Sunday dinner were cremated and hard, and the roasties were a bit over done. Gammon ordered was sat in a pool of grease on the plate (had to mop up with napkins) which wasn’t the best (should have left to rest for a minute and drained oil). Ordered a big candy mania and it was missing ingredients that was on the menu and also came in an underwhelming bowl which definitely wasn’t the portion size you should/used to get as it was massive before in a big sundae bowl. For the most part the food was tasty and good value for money, will be back again soon and hope that the kitchen just had a bit of an off day.
