Jovada Express

We have had a fantastic experience with Jovada. We moved countries for the first time, from UK to Sweden, and they have been helpful, clear and patient with us, not just with questions, but also when we went above the permitted tonnage. They kept our things in storage and have transported them later, safely, quickly and professionally (even when the temperature in Sweden got to -16) and with the best price around. They also explained all the legislation and helped with the paperwork. If moving back to the UK, they'd be the only ones we would contact and we wholeheartedly recommend them. Great service! We got recommended Jovada Express to help us with our move from the UK to the Netherlands and I couldn’t have asked for a smoother process. Everything was clearly communicated from the start, our boxes were picked up by a friendly driver on Friday and got delivered the same weekend. They also took care of all the customs paperwork, which saved us a lot of time and hassle. Highly recommend!

I moved outside the UK to a country in the EU recently and I couldn't have asked for a better moving partner than Jovada. I set up the service with months of anticipation and they budgeted it and kept it as agreed all the time. They have a very well stablished paperwork workflow that will help you setting the removal. The day of the moving I was approached by their workers who were very kind, proactive and skilled people that treated my stuff with care. I then received the moving in my new home as agreed (2 working days later, I was moving on a weekend) but a few hours earlier than expected, they were understanding enough to wait for me until I could download my belongings into the new house and they were equally effective in doing so than when they first took them.I dont think there would be a way this could have been smoother than it was.Jovada Express cares about you and it shows.10/10 recommended.

Overall a disappointing experience with Jovada. 2 vans were used, 1 driver was great, the other one wanted a cash payment on delivery...despite a full upfront payment to the company. Also that driver didn't help at all to unload the truck, not one box, faking being injured...I reported it to the company manager and was very disappointed with his reaction as I was willing to get a partial refund for a service that was partially delivered. No news from him as of now ignoring my messages...In short if you are lucky you might get your stuff in one piece and with the help of the driver for the unloading.If you are unlucky, you will do everything by yourself and might be blackmailed to give some extra cash. Don't expect the manager to take any responsibility in case of issues.I think that's the downside of using a cheap service. Lessons learnt !

Very very happy with my experience with Jovada! Nikodem has been great since the beginning, very responsive and clear about the quote I received. They really went above and beyond to move quickly and safely all my belonging from the UK to Belgium, and even helped me with trickier items to transport. The driver was also very careful and made sure all was secured on the van. I would use them again in a heartbeat, highly recommended!

Here is a summary of my experience:I agree with Jovada on a service for removal of a list of items for a fixed amount.On the day of collection, a driver arrives 2h before scheduled time, with no carts or wheeled platforms. Says the load is ok, as agreed.Once everything is loaded and sent to storage, I receive a call from Jovada and say there is overweight. They can return the goods or charge me an extra fee. I have no other option but to agree for an extra payment.Payment is agreed part by transfer part in cash, 50Delivery is on a Sunday and from Friday I lose contact with the person I had been talking from Jovada.On Sunday, delivery arrives 6 hours later than expected.An hour before delivery, I am told that bank transfer will not be an option.When the unloading is half completed, Jovada calls saying I have to deliver the cash before completion and help unload; or the service will stop right away.Me and my pregnant wife are forced to help carrying the goods until the service is finished.The kitchen table appears seriously damaged, with blows and scratches everywhere.Jovada do not reply to any of my emails anymore.

Got a quote on the 20th of July for a dedicated van 1000kg/24m^3 for £2800, which surprisingly became £3100 after 11 days. Justification was ferry provider that the prices have increased since we last went there".Obviously ferry prices do not increase £300 over 11 days. Current ferry price from Dover to Calais is less than £200 while ferry price from Nice to Porto Torres is around £300
