My child has been attending Willow Nursery for over a year now and I have nothing but praise for this establishment. Thanks to the dedicated Baby Room manager and the staff who all work tirelessly to take care of all the children, my son has developed so much. My child was referred to external NHS departments such as Speech and Language, the Childhood Development Centre and Audiology when it was felt that he may need more support and that was as a result of the close work the Baby Room manager and SENCO manager had done with him. The nursery has fantastic resources and equipment such as a sensory room, SEN trained staff, a large playground, toys and books. Honestly, I visited a number of nurseries in the local area and none of them compared. The nursery is diverse as both the children and staff are of different cultures and raves and this is regularly celebrated. Overall, I can say I am extremely happy with Willow Nursery they take very good care of the children, keep parents and families involved and informed in everything they do and there is a real community feel about it. Well done Willow Nursery!!!

My child has been coming here from 11 months old. I cannot recommend this place enough and am so delighted we chose it. We travel a little further out as it was the best nursery for our needs and working patterns (buses, and different tube lines). I nearly didn’t attend the initial appointment and wanted to turn back as it was distance from the bus stop and thought it would be too far to walk on a daily basis and in adverse weather. However my partner insisted and upon arrival I was delighted to find that the baby room manager attended the church I used to go to.Seeing her there was the deciding factor for me to put my child at this establishment. I have not regretted it. From the home visit, to the settling in period and the learning journals we receive about how our child is developing. The different food, cultural and diversity exposure, activities in the nursery and trips further afield teaching them so much, and giving parents the opportunities to talk to each other outside of the regular drop off and pick routine. Is truly inspirational and demonstrates that a lot of thought has been put in to create lesson plans that create an environment to learn and try new things and make everyone feel welcome. They even had a lovely mothers and grandmothers tea which my mother attended and enjoyed. The staff engagement and willingness to support our children, facilities the children have access to, (sensory rooms, indoor and out-door class rooms for different age groups, baking their own birthday cakes) honestly I looked at several nurseries and didn’t find ANY like this establishment! Outside of the ‘nursery’ provision, there are numerous classes that parents can attend if they need help or support or just want to learn new tools to be better parents, (sleeping, feeding, challenging behaviour, puppet making, first aid, breast feeding etc).If there was a nursery award, I would give it to this nursery. Bearing in mind my experience is only of the baby room for the past year and I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to every single one of the staff who work in this room and the manager for managing to create an atmosphere that inspires learning, confidence and excellence. I am certain they are not paid enough for all they do to look after our children and give us, the parents’ piece of mind. Thank you from our whole family!

Fantastic place! My daughter attended from the age of 11 months until starting reception - and I am so happy that I chose this nursery! Little one learned so much - from using the potty to knowing all the alphabet and numbers up to 20 when she started reception. Forever grateful to Willows staff who taught her all the skills and helped her to develop from a tiny little baby into a happy, confident and bright young girl that she is today!

My advice is not to send your child there. It is the worst place to ever exist. During my working placement, the staff members treated new employees and students as slaves. They made them do all the work while taking full advantage of them. They take little care about any concerns or problems parents may experience. In front of the childs parents, they act like they have full resposiblity but as soon as the childs parent leaves, they give no attention or affection the child requires. They treat the special needs kids the same way they treat the normal kids by leaving them outside to eat mud and cause accidents knowning they require more help. This has caused a significant amount of accidents to occur. Moreover, the staff have no experience on how to treat the special needs children, they scream and get angry at them knowning there brains arent as well developed as the other children.

The only reason why I gave 4* is for the share fact there's always room for improvement but the service provided in my eyes is 5 *. My little girl is going through transition this summer and it has been a beautiful journey watching her turn into a little independent character. The staff has shown great dedication and love for all the children. THANKYOU to nursery management Amanda always willing to help and and my lovely child key worker Jo and Angela with her warm nature and thats only a few names to mention because they are all brilliant & hard working. I will look forward to the next chapter of my childs life journey in the 2-3 room. Keep up the good work all at Willow Nursery!x

Great place for children's activity. Free play and rhyme sessions keep children involved throughout 1 hour. Also a great place to meet other mums and make new friends.
