Richer Sounds, Middlesbrough

Bought a tv from Richer Sounds about 2years ago and it just started turning itself off,after contacting the shop and reporting it they were out after couple of days,found the fault and put it right.All of the lads were very polite and efficient can’t fault the service .Would definitely use them again and definitely recommend them.

Visited and bought a new amplifier, they are the same price as everywhere else but offer you to view the product first eliminating buying blind online, they give a 2 yr guarantee without costing extra or reliance on manufacturers, they usually know what they are talking about and stock only quality items

Visited between Christmas and New year to purchase a TV and left without one as no indication of when the one I wanted would be in stock and the next model up had gone up in price by £150 but would be reduced again in a day or two. Bought the next model up after reductions but wasn't told it might not fit my TV stand that my last TV was attached too (same brand). Ended up with a TV I couldn't put up. On first visit I waited 10 minutes as deputy manager was serving a customer until the manager came out and promptly served the customer after me. Waited another 10 minutes before finding out not in stock. Never had a problem before and always used and recommended this store. TV I ended up with is fabulous though.

First class service received from the Middlesbrough store.Middlesbrough is not my local store, Newcastle is but they were dragging their heels as I had rang them 3 times and each time I was told we will get back to you.Shaun and Paul from the Middlesbrough store were exceptionally helpful. Nothing was a problem for these guys. I had 3 TVs in mind and I was given so much information on each one which in turn made my decision easy.I normally do things online but the deal I was after which was a TV and bracket, the website would not allow it to go through. I asked for the deal that was advertised on Richer sounds website and Shaun gave it to me without hesitation.Order process simple, communications bang on, items delivered next day by BJS deliveries which were very good also.On inspection of the TV it was found to have a little cosmetic damage to the bezel and after a couple of phone calls was exchanged without any issues at all..Well done Richer Sounds and well done Shaun and Paul.

Helpful and knowledgeable bunch. Sorted my new TV with a quick phone call for advice and to check what stock they had in. Ended up suggesting a TV I hadn't looked at and it ticked all the boxes. Would recommend if you're in the market for TV or tech etc

What can I say about this store and company. Firstly when I purchased my TV I thought great service and really helpful. I thought great I will definitely return. However that view has changed considerably!Turns out the TV developed a fault so rang for a copy of my receipt and spoke with the store manager. He advised me of the number I needed to call which I did. I ended up speaking with the tv manufacturer for over an hour and a half. No further forward I called the store back and again asked to speak with the manager. However he decided that he would hang up on me rather than try to resolve my issueEdit: since this review I emailed the CEO who have resolved my issue. I have left the 2 star review as I shouldn't of had to go down this route to get my issue sorted

My partner purchased a surround sound system on Wednesday and it was delivered the next day. Unfortunately when we opened the box the items were the wrong colour. We contacted the shop and Paul sprung into action immediately to resolve the issue. He kept us informed by email and everything happened as he said it would, the correct colour system was swapped over the next day. The true test of a good company is how they deal with problems, in our case they were fantastic.

Great service from Paul on Monday when I was purchasing new CD player and speakers, was given room to try system out with different speakers, no pressure ,decided on Marantz player with Acoustic Q speakers,. Got delivered next day,Paul checked my old Aiwa turntable and said it did not need replacing. Had problem getting speakers balanced,contacted Richer sounds and Stewart solved problem over phone.Excellent sound with cds and was amazed how good John Hiatts ,What Will we do now ,sounded on Spotify Put first album I ever bought .Younger than Yesterday by Byrdsand it sounded perfect.Thanks Paul and Stewart.Neil Wheldon.Did not put TV on all night

Excellent shop with staff that know what they are tracking aboutAnother plus was that we were never out under any pressure at anytime, nor did they try to sell me more expensive TVs.
