Really dont deserve this one star but you have no choice because my rating would definitely be a minus! Over the last 12 months myself and my family have experienced awful service from parkfield surgery all staff as bad as one another I really dont know how this surgery is still running I contacted the surgery back in December had to fight and beg for a doctors appointment which I got 4 hours after seeing doctor but it wasn't it was a nurse I ended up being blue lighted to a&e and was in icu for 18 days with meningitis but was told I had ear infection and was given drops when I came out of hospital I needed a lot of appointments but still had to fight to get one I logged a complaint in February with practice manager but to this day haven't heard a thing but now have taken it further. Please be careful .

THE most awful ‘doctors surgery’ I’ve ever dealt with. Absolutely no way of getting an appointment and the staff are horrendous; so condescending and quite frankly, offensive!I was ten minutes late for an appointment for my daughter and clearly quite flustered and apologetic and I was standing at reception for five minutes being lectured and then when the doctor agreed to see us he continued to lecture me and huff and puff! Can’t believe how terrible the service is, the staff shouldn’t work in healthcare, there’s n o t h i n g caring about them!If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would!

Can never seem to get an appointment no matter what. Wouldn’t be so bad if you could actually get through on the phone or book days in advance, but no, you have to book on the day and wait for 40+ mins on the phone, or go in person and queue at the doors.No wonder A&E waits are so long - it’s because nobody can go to their own gp with minor ailments because there’s NEVER ANY APPOINTMENTS.

I have been a patient since the surgery opened, the care and compassion that used to be there from all the staff has now sadly disappeared. I'm not a person who will go to the Drs for any little thing but when I need their help I can't get it. This week I have had to telephone the surgery twice to get an appointment spending 1hr 20mins the first time before I got to speak to the receptionist who gave me a face to face appointment for 10 days time. The second time I was on the phone for 2hrs for the receptionist to tell me that she couldn't help. In the end I had to call 111 who got me a telephone consultation for the next day. Dr wanted to know when I sent him pictures of my problem why I hadn't made an appointment sooner??? He issued me with a prescription which the chemist informed me there was a national shortage, so contacted the surgery again to be told she would call me back. I called the surgery again 5 hours later to be I formed the receptionist I spoke to hadn't done anything. The guy I spoke to said he would sort it for me before they closed. Its now 6.50pm the surgery is closed and no phone call no prescription so yet another day I have to suffer. Its such a shame the surgery that once had compassion is now being run to the ground. I will now be leaving this surgery and finding another one. I urge anyone to think twice before contemplating this surgery for help.

Disgusting service. No empathy or care for patients health. There is no consideration for working people who cannot call everyday at 8am and wait 40 minutes on phone. The phone line does not open at 8am they forget to turn on the phone. Reception staff are very rude and disconnect the call when challenged. Horrifc, the place needs to be shut down or given a heafty fine. The doctor that I saw spoke 100mph for 4 mins then typed in silence for 10 mins and when I wanted to ask some questions I was told that we don't have time. I have to fight tooth and nail to get the doctors to listen and to get some help. If you have any serious medical conditions do not come here because they will put you in a early grave.

I transferred to woodcross because of the good reviews but keep getting transferred to parkfield.I have spent more time on hold than actually seeing anyone!I have only been there for a 5 min appointment to take my blood pressure and height but spent at least 4 hours on hold trying to get appointments.Each time I call, I spend half an hour on hold then when i get to first in the queue they hang up! Currently I've been on hold number 1 in the queue" for 10 minutes out of 26 minutes... 2nd call of rhe day as they hung up on me the first time after 30 minutes"

I had my appointment booked would not let me see the doctor being 5 minuties late rude staff I suggest u keep away from the place priority is diffrent coloured people walk in and are told to take a seat racist is my only word didn’t even ask them what time there appointment was booked for STAYY AWAYY FROM THE PLACE TAKE MY WORD

You called me today and didn’t leave a voicemail or send an email to confirm why you called. I have called you back and have been in the queue for 41 minutes. There was only 8 calls in the que and I am still number 2. Why are your staff not answering the phone? Every time I call I get rushed off the phone or hung up on if I want to ask more questions so what’s taking so long? And learn to communicate with your patients. Disgusting Dr Surgery. Everyone has been complaining about the way you care for your patients and nothing has changed. You just don’t care about your patients.

Health and beyond!!!!THIS SITUATION IS CONCERNING, AND IT'S CRUCIAL THAT HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS TAKE BABY FORMULA PRESCRIPTIONS SERIOUSLY, CONSIDERING THE NEEDS OF YOUNG CHILDREN.BABY FORMULA IS AN ESSENTIAL SOURCE OF NUTRITION FOR INFANTS, AND IT’S VITAL THAT HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS TAKE PRESCRIPTIONS FOR IT SERIOUSLY TO ENSURE THE WELL-BEING OF YOUNG CHILDREN. SAFETY AND PROPER NUTRITION SHOULD ALWAYS BE A TOP PRIORITY.While the medical care at The Grove medical has consistently been exceptional, I must express my concern about the time it takes to sort out my daughter’s FORMULA PRESCRIPTION . On several occasions, there have been significant delays in processing this essential prescription, causing inconvenience and STRESS.I must express my disappointment with certain receptionists who have been consistently rude and have struggled with effective communication. These experiences have made interactions at the front desk and Phone calls less pleasant and have left me feeling frustrated.I hope that The Grove Medical Centre can address this issue and provide further Training or guidance to improve the professionalism and communication skills of their reception staff. A welcoming and courteous front desk experience is an essential part of the overall patient experience.I hope the grove medical surgery can work on improving the efficiency of prescription-related processes.
