Public Art - The Aylestone Meadows Mural
This excellent and eye-catching Street Art mural was painted to show the joys and pleasures of Aylestone Meadows, Aylestone, Leicester, Leicestershire, East Midlands, England. It was commissioned by the Aylestone Meadows Appreciation Society and Leicester City Council (who also financed it).It was painted by Leigh Drummond (who also painted the LCFC Thailand themed mural on the wall of The Newarke Houses Museum and the Tigers mural on Walnut Street). Thanks are due to J R Allen & Sons Ltd, 473 Aylestone Road, Leicester, LE2 8TB on whose side wall the mural is painted to be seen by everyone travelling into the City of Leicester on Aylestone Road.
