Very poor and very disappointing as I have used this garage for years. My car needed attention and despite taking it back a number of times and having further work carried out, it still wasn’t right. Eventually I took it for a second opinion where I was flabbergasted to find that the disks had eroded and should have been identified when the break pads were changed. I then had to pay a second time to get these replaced by another garage and despite contacting CD motors they have not had the courtesy to return my call (not at all surprised) because I requested a refund of the brake pads they changed because they had to be replaced with the new disks. All other work carried out was satisfactory hence they have been scored 2.

I went there twice for the same fault. £250 later, the fault was still there. I took my car to a different garage and they diagnosed the problem immediately. This used to be a great garage. I'm afraid this might be longer the case.

Had an MOT done in October by another garage and my brakes were listed as an advisory. Took it to KB Motors in January to get this sorted. I specifically asked them to check all of the brakes and repair what needed to be done.Upon collecting the car, the brakes felt worse than when I had dropped the car to them. They were shuddering when I was pressing them. I pulled over and called them, explaining the problem which they responded could not have been them or a problem, maybe just wait for the new brakes to set in.10 minutes later (after continuing to drive) they called me back asking me to very carefully drive the car back to them asap.As I drove back into the garage, the brakes completely went - heard by me in the car and the mechanics in the garage. Clearly, they had not checked the brakes properly as I asked and I was actually told by a member of staff that he was glad I wasn't driving on a hill when they went as I'd have had no braking control - WHAT!?To add insult to injury, I have just taken my car to a different garage for my MOT (as I will never trust KB Motors ever again) and my locking wheel nut is missing from the bag where I keep it. KB Motors have stolen my locking wheel nut in the process of half checking my brakes and having to fix the damage that could have caused me, and any passengers in my car, serious injury.Avoid this place at all costs.

Looking at the last review I find it very hard to believe the comments that were posted. My experience couldn't have been any better. From the minute I entered the reception to the point where I collected my vehicle I found CD Motors to be polite, professional and very informative. I had a number of issues with my vehicle which other garages were not able to rectify and although my car was with them for a couple of days, it came back with no faults or issues. To say that I was impressed is an understatement. I was kept well informed and notified of any work that had to be undertaken before they proceeded. On the day of collection I was shocked to find the cost of repairs was nowhere near what I was expecting. For the amount of work done I was expecting a far higher bill.Finally just to say I very rarely leave reviews but on this occasion I felt it necessary to share my thoughts and experience.I would highly recommended this garage and in fact other family members have already made use of their services.Thank you CD Motors for a pleasurable experience

Car was booked in at 11. Been sat at side of road all day and not been looked at. Walked 2 hours there and back, no apology or anything given when picking keys up. 4 mechanics stood around chatting whilst 1 worked on a car. Broken down on my way home . Avoid

Went this morning to a couple of mechanics in the area and none were even remotely helpful and were extremely miserable. Came to KB Motors and the guy was so friendly...such a difference. Helped me out free of charge to look over the car after the amber engine light came on. He said if I had any problems to just come back and he would take another look. Really friendly and helpful. Cant recommend them enough!
