Harvest Time
We bought half a dozen eggs after being assured that they were reasonably fresh. The first three were inedible and we binned the rest. The lady running the shop also needs to learn some people skills; try getting to know the lovely ladies at Marchbank Bakers or find another career

Totally agree with what Julian says: “The lady running the shop also needs to learn some people skills”. No improvement in the past year. The most dour, miserable, pursy woman I’ve had the misfortune to encounter. She has no grace and fewer manners. Avoid the place.

Too late for quiche, boohoo. Cheese scones, excellent. Chunk of mull cheddar, the best cheese i have ever tasted, couldn't bring myself to waste it in a sandwich. Just ate it raw in two sittings. Excellent. Ill be back for quiche.
