Our usual plumber discovered a leak in our boiler when he came to do our annual service. He recommended a replacement so we did some research and got quotes in. Prices varied but we disregarded those who did not do an onsite survey. We’d decided on a Worcester Bosch boiler and PlumbJax Ltd and one other were the only companies to notice that our condensate pipe did not meet new regulations. PlumbJax price matched and offered to upgrade to a Hive Hub at cost. Communication throughout was good; emails were prompt and any questions answered. Our initial installation date was delayed by a day but we were kept fully informed and this wasn’t an issue to us. Jacques and his team arrived by 8.30am and worked steadily throughout the day. They were polite, professional and did everything they could to minimise disruption. The job was tricky due to lack of space and the landing location, yet the installation was efficient and done to a high standard. Our old system was flushed thoroughly several times and the new installation seems a vast improvement on the previous one. Jacques explained the operating system thoroughly and pointed out that the boiler may be a bit noisy and we may need to bleed the radiators periodically as despite his best efforts our system was retaining air (it’s a 1970s house). Overall very happy with the service provided. Would not hesitate to recommend PlumbJax Ltd – in fact Jacques has already been out to service my Mother-in-Law’s boiler and will be servicing ours next year.

My boiler broke down and Jacques was available the next day. He is very professional and fixed the problem after years of misery with the old boiler. He explains what the problems are and takes his time to work out how to fix the problem. The reviews he has are excellent as he is an excellent professional.

My existing Worcester Bosch boiler was pretty old and starting to cost money with repairs so PlumbJax came to the rescue and install a new WB 4000 for me. The job was done in a day and was done professionally and smoothly. Not only that but I obtained 4 other quotes for the work and they were the best price by far! I would recommend Plumbjax and use them again in the future.

After posting my job, I was contacted & had a virtual consultation with Jax by the end of the day. Jax was very clear on the parameters of the work & produced a quote for me later that day. They were able to come in a few days later to move & repipe some upstairs radiators. Joseph & Keshar arrived separately in the morning but worked solidly until the job was finished (except for a brief lunch break). They were polite, respectful & friendly individuals who did the work wonderfully. I will definitely be requesting them to come back & do the rest of my radiators!

New Vaillant boiler installed (not Combi) to replace 40 year old boiler. Was a two day job very satisfied with Plumbjax. Keshar and Tyrone did a good job.

I approached several companies for our new boiler installation. Plumbjax visited our home and were the only one that understood fully what we wanted and the quote they supplied was very reasonable. The next available date for install was quick and easy. Tyrone and keshar did our install they were fantastic kept me up to date throughout their visit and answered all my questions. They showed me the new hive app and left my home clean and tidy taking all the rubbish away. The evening of completion I had a small issue with the receiver for my thermostat I called plumjax and they talked me through the issue and helped me resolve it and came back the following day to move my receiver to a better location and its worked perfectly ever since. Definitely felt looked after even after they had completed the job. All in all an excellent service with knowledgeable and polite engineers so would definitely use them again and recommend thanks plumjax! Chrissy :)

Tyrone arrived on time. His preparation included protection for my bedroom carpet, which was much appreciated. He worked throughout the day explaining if I asked questions and ensured the shelving was refitted. I have confidence in the work and would reccomend as my neighbours did to me

Although Jacques didn’t fix the noisy boiler, it was still under warranty but a terrible experience with British Gas meant i looked elsewhere, he was really helpful beyond the visit to the house. He did additional research and called me back up with what he had found. He was extremely helpful in dealing with the manufacturer of the boiler.He is someone i would have no hesitation in recommending, and more importantly, I would certainly use again.
