I wanted to say that the afternoon tea boxes that you supplied for my mums farewell celebration of life get together last Thursday, were absolutely amazing. They were so well presented with individual coloured bows and the food was plentiful, very fresh, scrumptious and worth every penny. Everyone was very impressed, including the venue and I would definitely recommend. Wonderful customer service too!

By far the best bakery in Crawley! the doughnuts taste so soft and fresh and they’ve got proper sugar on, not that powdered rubbish you get from some supermarkets. The sandwiches, cakes and coffee’s are fantastic. Staff are very friendly and always happy to help.

I went to Tilgate bakery this morning as l was in hopes of getting a lovely fresh loaf of bread. When entering the premises it was apparent the bread shelves were entirely empty except for a sad looking six pack of finger rolls. An enquiry for a sourdough loaf was met with a sneer from the staff member. Basic would be an understatement. What on earth did they win their self proclaimed award for? If you are thinking of the word 'Artisan' then l'm afraid this isn't the bakery for you.

Had a sausage roll and doughnut today - first time I've ever been. Totally the best sausage roll and doughnut I've ever had - hands down. 10/10. My daughter is GF and I was eyeing up the GF cakes which were packed for extra protection. Absolutely love that ❤️

I ordered 2 boxed afternoon teas from here. They phoned me to confirm and any dietary requirements. The lady was super helpful and polite. I swapped the macaroons out for two sponges.Each box only cost £10 and they deliver locally within the Crawley area. The afternoon tea was all home made and delicious. We had 1 fruit scone and 1 plain. Jam and clotted cream went down well. Sandwiches were tasty. All of it was fresh. Loved the details of including a serviette and knife.Would definately highly recommend.* cans of drink not included

Ordered 2 cream teas with extras plus a box of ‘no milk, no soya, no red meat’ whatever for delivery for a birthday tea. Delivery was on time, boxes looked beautiful, contents were a delight. Fresh, tasted wonderful and very good value. Definitely recommend. (Ignore the ‘vegan’, that was just to differentiate the box, I’m not vegan)

Jane from Tilgate Bakery is a superstar. She catered for our wedding which included drinks reception food and an afternoon tea wedding breakfast. She was flexible with our needs and wants and very professional. Would definitely recommend. Everyone commented on how lovely the food was, and it looked lovely presented on the cake stands.
