The Playhouse, Weston-super-Mare

Excellent venue and even free parking in the street after 6pm. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant.Went to see ShowaddyWaddy and what a show, a full house and absolutely brilliant performance from them both music and singing.

Another gem of a place in Weston Super Mare.We made time to watch 'elo AGAIN' at The Playhouse.1st time visit. Booked tickets the day before from one of the most pleasant and helpful members of staff you will find anywhere, without a shred of phoney corporate OTT or worse still, Poundland style service.Then, on the night again, superbly friendly staff young and old.Not sure if the sound engineer was with the band or resident. The sound mix was the only down side with 'Jeff (Ian) Lynne way too quiet and the cellist couldn't be heard at all (I thought she might be miming all night except for one track when the sound was better).A lovely venue. Smallish but very pleasant.

Visited with my mum to watch the mousetrap. Very easy to book online and collect ticket from box office on the night. Very organised, so not much waiting around before event. Seats comfortable and view of the show good. There are seats and spaces for wheelchair users, plus a lift. Hot, cold and alcoholic drinks and snacks available before the show and in the interlude. Staff very professional and helpful. Parking nearby in local carpark, some street spaces (charged) bus stops and taxi rank nearby.

Lovely little theatre. We were sat in row L and were to the side but had perfect view of stage. Was a bit worried as it was a comedian we saw who is very visual in his props and jokes but we had the perfect view and didn't miss anything. Nice bar inside too.

This place is amazing, the atmosphere is always great. The acoustics are fantastic so any musical performances always sound brilliant.

Delightful comfortable Theatre... Comfortable seats.. good events. Very helpful staff and caring…. a real gem! As for the current play… 75 years old…The Mouse Trap…was as appealing as the day it was written. The entire production team and cast members keptus revited. Perfect! Kept us guessing until the final reveal? The Mouse Trap….Congratulations…..

A lovely 600 seat theatre in Weston where we saw the Western Operatic Society’s production of Chess. Good comfy seats and great view from four rows back in the circle. Building was clean and overall fabric in sparkling condition. Small bar for half time refreshments including ice cream. Parked 5 minutes walk away on the sea front. Will definitely consider it for other shows, a much better experience than going into Bristol for The Hippodrome.

Have Been to the playhouse a few times the most recent visit was to to see the long running mousetrap, which was very enjoyable.Great staff and always a good night out, always worth checking online to see what's showing

Fabulous playhouse. Frequent attendee to a variety of performances.The greatest show, cirque, was our most recent visit.....AMAZING!!
