I have used this pharmacy for over 12 years and I still haven't chosen to go elsewhere. The staff are amazing and I love the personal approach to any important issue that I have encountered. Thank you as always

Shocking service falsely advertised a product to a customer then had no apology at all and had a rude attitude? Then the manager has thrown the customer out off the app and service for THERE mistakes ? disgusting and cheeky

I can't fault sykes chemist very helpful eventhough I'm not a regular customer

Being old age went into chemist handed in my prescription and after about eight minutes I was told some of items not in stock and you have to come back to collect it and I explained about my health issues and asked for home delivery and I was shocked to hear that it will cost me £3 for home delivery.Took another chemist got sorted out there and then Definitely will not go back to this chemist?

Okay there are some good points and bad points regarding this pharmacy.The staff are polite and friendly, and on my last visit to collect a prescription I rang ahead to check it was ready, and my visit to collect was therefore quick and painless (save the fees).When this chemists was at Marsden House they would send me a text when my prescription was ready. Not sure why, but this has stopped.However there is a huge negative here, although I guess it is lucrative for the business; the supervised medication collection & consumption centre. This means there are a lot of unsavoury characters hanging around most of the time (although if you go before noon they generally aren't out of bed yet). But if you're heading here later in the afternoon or early evening, you are going to be mingling with crack head zombies and all the social problems that brings. Aggressive begging, terrible odours, and frequent loud foul and abusive language, even from the 'ladies'. I've seen used needles in the gutters and thrown into hedgerows in the local park nearby. It's grim. Still it's a service and someone has to do it. Can't blame the staff who I find to be courteous and efficient.

25/6/2023 July I was waiting for my percription for 5 minutes + and then another man walked in and was served strai6fght away while I was still stood there waiting and when I asked why this happened they replied that they didn't hear the door bell which is a pxxspoor excuse I was treated like I was different from everyone elseSTRONGLY RECOMMEND STAY AWAY BAD SERVICE

Excellent, helpful, polite staff always have the required medication in stock. Been trying many pharmacies in bolton for a specific item only this pharmacy had it.

My whole family has been a very regular customer for many years, my son has a very serious eczema and as usual we ordered his repeat prescriptions which were originally prescribed by the hospital. When I called the pharmacy they insisted that they have received my son's prescription but I could collect one tub of Aquaderm Cream and they will deduct when they will receive the normal prescription which has been a regular pattern when prescription does not arrive on time.But the pharmacist had to make a drama out of a crisis and he refused what was promised over the phone and told me I had to go through 111 which as registered disabled I could not do that at the time normally due to the long wait. I came a long distance from the other side of the town to reach the pharmacy but no consideration was given and I needed to go home to take my medication for my transplant.When I was on the way home I called my son's surgery they informed me that the surgery called the pharmacy and emailed early that day that they had difficulty sending by electronic form and to ask they driver to collect prescriptions from the surgery but the pharmacy never bothered to read the email and no action was taken even though it was an urgent medication request on repeat!The pharmacist Ajay Patel was very rude, very impolite, arrogant, and gave me offensive and insulting remarks whilst leaving the pharmacy which was totally unacceptable behaviour from a pharmacist who is supposed to be a professional and outstanding in his work especially knowing I had a disability.The pharmacist Ajay Patel made the situation worse by wasting my valuable time and the your staff had falsely promised me that I can come all that way to collect a tub of cream which my son receives on repeat every two weeks as a regular customer on the chemist discretion which the staff Adil and Soyab knows me for many years which is nothing to do with the NHS rules!I had worked for Cohens chemist since 1993 so I know very well how chemists operate.Looks like the pharmacy will now lose another customer for life by their stupid actions!!!

Such a great pharmacy. The staff always go above and beyond. Would definitely recommend using them for prescription service. Fab.
