Lovely tour around the factory to see how they make rock the Kids enjoyed it £450 over 4 s but be warned they want £1.50 for rolling a bar of rock which you get to keep and £1.50 for making a chocolate lolly as well (in wich you pay the extra at the time not in reception plus there is a soft play area at the end of the tour which is an extra charge which is £4 each for 2 hours play which I think is a good idea to burn all that sugar off.& a cafe (they also do jugs of juice which is cheaper. Than buying them cans or fruit juice

Kids enjoyed rolling out the rock costs extra £1.00 on top of entrance of £3.00 each. Made chocolate lollies also extra £1.00 each. Went to play gym afterwards extra entrance fee ok for the younger end. Food reasonable but small portion (no salad with my jacket potato!)

Fabulous place to visit on a wet day. Tour isn't long but stay can be extended in play area and cafe. Staff were all very friendly and the smell of cooking yum.

This is a good value place to visit and it's fun to make your own stick of rock too! It was hard to hear what the employee was saying when he spoke, and the tour could do with a little more information but it was still a good experience.

Absolutely filthy food all over the floor getting trampled in by kids who then go into the soft play with it all over their socks! Watched a member if staff wipe a highchair and just throw all crumbs on floor and walk away! Have you heard of a dustpan and brush?? Toilets are filthy if my 5year old wasnt that desperate i would of took her else where Keep expecting rats to appear its that grubby

A nice diversion from the beach, or as a stop off point on the way home, or for a rainy day. The tour allows visitors to see various stages of sweet production and packing, and there is an opportunity to roll your own initialled stick of rock for £1. Tour groups are separated by a wait of approximately 25 minutes.

Took the kids as we were staying in Bridlington and I have to say the £17 entry fee (2 adults 3 kids) isn't a bad price for an attraction if there was a lot to see or do but for me it's not worth the money, on entry you watch a 5 minute video that explains the origins of John Bull, move into a long room where you get to watch them make the rock and have a go yourself if you desire (£1.50pp), walk past a small room where they make the butter biscuits but no one was making anything while we were there, did get to sample a free biscuit though. Next was the packaging room where a machine was bagging up peanut brittle, through some glass windows you could see the chocolate room where they were making things like chocolate hearts and fish, once again no one was present in this room just a machine turning some chocolate moulds, didn't get to see the process of covering things in chocolate like the fudge, mallow, cinder toffee etc. Next to the chocolate room you could have a go at making a chocolate lolly (£1.50pp), once you were through the packaging room you were in the sweet shop where you had a massive choice of sweets to chose from and purchase if you desired, the exit led straight to the entrance of a whacky warehouse style play area, I didn't enter here but I do believe the price was £4.50 a child and an adult went free with every paying child. If you didn't stand to watch a the whole process of a stick of rock being made you could have walked around the attraction in about 10mins. Personally for me I feel the entrance fee needs ruducing especially as you have to pay again to take part in things once inside

Great price and excellent experience! Took two kids aged 4 and 6 and they had a fantastic time! Food is ok but at the end of the day, if the kids are happy... So are you! Soft play... Not the factory.
