Long U Car Park
Big favorite for me and my dog. Sweeping vistas from this easy to park spot.Off a very fast road so take care turning into its two entances.Ground is mostly unmade and presents as muddy during winter and any wet spells. However, does not affect parking overall.Immediate foot access to the Ashdown forest. Currently awash with yellow Gorse flowers.

As with most, if not all Ashdown forest car parks you have to now pay. This is a bone of contention, one I don't believe is right as no changes or facilities have appeared. The most stupid thing is, you can only pay via phone app, unfortunately, there is little to no mobile reception to achieve this, hence a group of 10 people all in differing states of confusion when we visited. Once this is achieved and if there is still any daylight remaining, it is a lovely place to explore from.

Beautiful surroundings but this is just a carpark however convenient for walkers on Ashdown Forest not too expensive.

Used to be a good place to enjoy nature but the council have become too greedy and corrupt for their own good.Forget Forest Row and the Ashdown Forest I will take my walks in nature to other locations like Reigate Hill with free parking and spend my money businesses in those areas.

Beautiful area, with a walk down an old disused runway for a plane in WW2. So much to see with beautiful acid ponds. Tall Pine Trees and Birch Trees. My only bug was the amount of dog poo left by Dog owners.

Its a car park, near the Llama park and is for visitors to Ashdown Forest. Things to see, apart from the usual, is Vachery, the airman memorial and I believe, the remains of a runway.

Long U Car Park
Perfect, a carpark in a long layby just off the A22. Ideal for walks in the area, including down to the Chelwood Vachery forest garden which has several charming features.
