Lovely little place. Great spot to people watch if you can get the window seat!Only negative thing was my slice of lemon drizzle cake was absolutely tiny for the price.The choice of teas was brill.

Edinburgh has a plethora of wonderful coffee shops to spend a morning or afternoon. This coffee shop has a very inviting interior, a large menu of options even though they don’t offer a basic black coffee. The tea selection is phenomenal and they serve it in beautiful tea sets. My largest complaint, is their awful music choice. The past couple times I’ve been here, the playlist was far too loud, demanding and outdated for studying or meeting with a friend. It makes the atmosphere less cozy or productive.

Cute spot with great food and coffee! Got a chai latte with smoked salmon on toast, and it was just what I needed after a long Saturday night. Great location and lovely staff too!

Food and tea was just okay and definitely overpriced, got a lot more food just up the road at Southern Cross Cafe for a similar price. Atmosphere is just lovely; you’re really paying for the wonderful environment. Very cosy.

Service was excellent. Coffee was tasty. The stone and banana cake also delicious. I sat outside which was a great opportunity to watch people walk up and down.

The girl serving didn't acknowledge me as I was waiting to be served and carried on unpacking drinks. Then told me I can get one of the drinks from behind me in a fridge. There wasn't any left of the one I ordered because the fridge was barely stocked and when I told her it wasn't there, she sort of shrugged and said well the one you want will be warm then (despite the fact I already paid).Other than that, atmosphere was very cute and pretty and latte tasted nice. But expensive.Just bad atmosphere from staff with zero customer service skills.
