Absolutely lovely without them I wouldn't have got my beautiful gizmo. 10 out of 10 look after the animals like their own family.

Lovely staff who care deeply about the animals in their care. Professional and friendly, when we left with our new dog we were asked to stay in touch so they know how we are all getting on.

Over the years we have adopted in total 2 dogs and 3 cats from the Chesterfield branch of the RSPCA. They do great work, friendly staff and very helpful. The new centre is bright, warm and welcoming. Rescue animals are not animals with problems, just animals needing a good home!

Since the fantastic £2.1m rebuild, this is now a fabulous state of the art facility. As always, providing exceptional care, to animals in need of a new home. A charity which would appreciate and is worthy of your support.

Benji the Parson Russell Terrier, came to live with us last week. It was a bit like an arranged marriage, as we had only seen him by photo then videos, because of Covid restrictions. Likewise the home visit, was by video. Benji was delivered to us, and we instantly fell in love with him. He is a young dog full of character, and full of love, and has settled in really well with us.He was in good physical condition, and obviously during his stay, well looked after.I would certainly recommend RSPCA Chesterfield, as a caring and professional organisation, and thank them for allowing Benji to come and live with us.UPDATE 15 months on from adoption.Benji has proven to be a talented little star. His amazing ability to learn new things, took us along the Trick Dog training route.Benji flew through his Trick Dog Titles, then became a Champion followed by becoming a Grand Champion in July. He is only the second Parson Russell Terrier in the World to achieve this Title.Rescue dogs have so much to give, never under estimate them because they are a rescue. Benji has enhanced our lives, in ways we never thought would happen, we love him to bits!

My son rehomed a G SD puppy approx 3 years ago.from RSPCA Chesterfield..The staff at the home were very caring and professional right through the adoption process. The home itself was spotlessly clean and all the animals in comfortable surroundings. Would thoroughly recommend this shelter to potential adopters. Just in case the staff may recall the puppy was Bear known as Ted. He has grown into a beautiful dog
