My 5 year old son joined Karate Leadership UK (Ashford) at the end of April 2021. Since he has started he has loved going to every class and he counts down the days until his next class. He respects both the Sensei's and since he has been going, his confidence in himself has improved and he has started doing better at school in both discipline and concentration and he has become so much calmer within himself and it has given him something to strive towards as he would really like to become a black belt one day. I would thoroughly recommend KLUK to anyone as all the staff are very friendly and welcoming and they make everyone feel at ease.

We couldn’t be happier with KLUK, they have been so supportive with both our sons especially my youngest who had a wobble for a couple of months. Sensei Roper gave him time and space and the support and encouragement he needed when he was ready to return. My oldest son has found a passion that cuts even with the PlayStation and he now attends multiple classes on numerous days in the week. Also throw a great Birthday party!

My Son (3) and I started here just after Christmas with my 3 year old starting in the little ninjas programme and my self joining the adults only classes. My 3 year old has gone from strength to strength. He has gained a real sense of self determination he is keen to gain each belt and I'm constantly being asked when he is going to the next class. The instructors are amazing. I couldn't recommend higher. As for the adult class the group is friendly with varying levels of ability. With various belts all training together. It's a great group of people. Finally a shout to all the instructors these guys put in graft and run this place amazingly well.

I enrolled my son for Karate classes at 3 years old as I believed it would be good for discipline, confidence and social skills. But unfortunately as my son did not always behave as expected (quite strict) he was at times isolated from activities and treated with a raised voice from the sensei that obviously did not know how to handle children. This led to the sensei treating the excitable kids differently from her favourites. If your child has an excitable nature, I would not recommend as there are 1-2 members of staff per approximately 20 kids and this often means that parents have to get involved to help.

Joining KL:UK Ashford Dojo has been a massively positive experience for me and my family. We enjoy the fitness aspect and the friendly team spirit fostered by Master Panton, Sensei Roper and the other instructors. Great for anyone looking for something different, or challenging.

Highly recommend Karate Leadership UK Ashford. It’s been beneficial to our family in many different ways. Master Panton and Sensei Roper as well as the other Senseis we have met have always been welcoming from the moment we walked through the doors. They have encouraged and helped our oldest gain confidence in herself. She went from nearly leaving her 1st grading not wanting to get on the mats (thank you to Sensei Fielding for getting her up there) to now having the confidence to do a kata in front of people on her own and that in itself shows how much support she has been given, even through COVID and lockdowns they have provided ample amounts of training and support. Master Panton and Sensei Roper although hold a high standard for their students are always able to have fun in lessons. She loves karate and will happily choose to spend a couple of hours training on a Saturday and other days too if she could. Our 2nd has been with little ninjas for just under 2 years, she has low muscle tone and balance issues, and Sensei Roper has always been great with her and very accommodating to her. Sensei will happily encourage and wait for her to finish before moving on even though it can sometimes take a while longer than all the other little ninjas. Our daughters balance and coordination have improved so much and her physio and occupational therapist think KL:UK has been great for her needs. She loves being apart of little ninjas and has always felt like she is included and not once been left behind. Our 3rd has also recently joined little ninjas after joining in on zoom during lockdown. He’s a bit of a wild one at times especially as his sisters in the class too but Sensei is fantastic at keeping him focused and engaged, he loves going to little ninjas and is always walking round at home doing and shouting high block. I personally love getting up on the mats with my children when needed and seeing their progress first hand, and provides a little bonding time with something they love.My partner has recently joined Ladies only kickboxing, first starting online during lockdown, now at the dojo. She suffers with high anxiety and doesn’t leave the house without me. For her to be able to go in on her own shows just how amazing Sensei Roper and all the ladies are. She never thought she would exercise in front of people but no one at ladies only has ever made her feel she shouldn’t be there. They have all been very welcoming and have made her feel comfortable which says how much of a great place this is. Sensei Roper is great with teaching and guiding how and what to do to improve through out and explaining the reason.I recommend Karate Leadership UK Ashford for all ages and all fitness levels, they are amazing and are so accommodating and want you to succeed. What I love about KL:UK is that even though you sign up for karate which their teaching and understanding is phenomenal, you get so much more!

I cannot recommend Karate Leadership enough, as a mature karate student with less confidence than I had as a younger person, I was worried I’d stand out like a sore thumb. Nothing could be further from the truth, we worked at my level, my journey grew from my individual starting point and I’ve only ever felt supported by Master instructors and Sensei’s that want me to be the best version of myself. I have grown immensely in the last 4 years and wish I’d plucked up enough courage to start sooner. Don’t take my word for it, come and see how amazing you can be, give Karate a chance, what have you got to lose?

Grading cost £27.50. Basically paid for a belt. Bbq and stands were there but had to pay. In the description sounded included with price of grading. They didn't do nothing to earn it. Most of the kids weren't listening but still given a belt. It's a franchise. Kids have fun but nothing more. Might aswell pay for a after school club to prat about but for half the price. We won't be returning. Will be looking at more groups that aren't a money grabbing lazy franchise. We want a group to teach values, respect and most importantly self defence which this company aren't up to high standards. Very disappointed.
