Royal Mail North West Delivery Office

I think these guys get a REALLY hard time. I've started using this sorting office since August with 'Click and Drop', when hours were admittedly inconvenient, but at time of posting the extended hours are very good, much better, and the staff I see regularly during morning drop offs are always kind, polite and helpful. I think we forget that a lot of the frustrations we deal with as customers have nothing to do with the staff themselves. I love going to this sorting office and hope this service doesn't change as going to my local post office branch for 'regular mailing' is getting increasingly impossible (long wait times and severely understaffed/trained). Just wanted to say I appreciate the service and staff, perfect for dropping off parcels.

I would like to congratulate you're postman (Liam) allocated to our area of West Ferryfield Edinburgh, nothing is too much trouble for him, he ie extremely courteous and professional and I am sure I speak for all the residents in our area, when I say, it is nice to have a postman carrying out his duties on a regular basis and hopefully he can serve this community for many years to come!!!Please pass on our thanks to him for a job well done.

Opening hours are ridiculous and make it impossible to actually collect anything. 2 hours per day? Really? Not to mention almost every time I go they've changed their opening times yet again.

Really bad opening days/times for a Royal Mail office where they send many parcels to collect it after not delivering properly at home. Please, work a bit more.

This place is *technically* wheelchair accessible, but they just moved all the parking much further away, and disabled bays are often filled with non badge holders. It is a very long way from parking to office, and every last inch is uphill! At least opening hours are getting a bit better, but if you can't get inside, they count for nothing

Staff helpful, but hours change quite often so better always check beforehand..

Why does this place have pointless opening hours? Why stay open till 2pm during the week? The purpose of the office is for people to collect parcels but they make it very difficult to do that! Utterly pointless

Staff are always helpful. Very quick service even when there is a queue. Reading other review...if you're going to pick up a parcel and on your slip you're left it tells you to bring ID then bring it. Don't make a review to say how strict" they are when it in fact tells you to bring it so they can do their job releasing a parcel to its correct recipient. So be grateful they do the job properly and don't give YOUR parcel to just ANYONE!"

Remember to bring your ID with you, as staff are very strict (and unfortunately in my case quite cheeky!).Space is very tight for picking up parcels so make sure you are prepared and come as early as you can to avoid any bother or extended wait times.
