We honestly had the best honeymoon imaginable; it was like having 5 holidays rolled into one. The weather was great everywhere we went, flights were on time etc…• The guest house in Cape Town was perfect, really homely, lovely owners who couldn’t do enough for us with booking meals and quiet pool in the courtyard to relax.• Car dropped off which all went smoothly and we headed to Franschoek but had a picnic booked at Boschendal wine estate en route. This was superb, lovely lunch with their wine and then went on a horse ride through the vineyard with amazing views.• La Petite Ferme was stunning, pool overlooked vineyard and they had pink champagne on ice for us in arrival which was a really nice touch. Everywhere had something for us actually! Had complimentary wine tour there as well.• Hotel in Hermanus was great too, right on the beach and felt like a nice quiet seaside town. Shame we didn’t get as long there as with early start for shark dive and then getting back to airport we didn’t get to settle in as much but room was lovely.• Safari couldn’t have been better; guy in our car said he had been on a few before and this was best he’d done; we saw the big 5 in one day as well as everything else. Our room overlooked river where we saw hippos and elephants, infinity pool overlooked the bush with giraffes walking by. So good.• And finally Bazaruto! Had dolphins next to us on the boat as we approached the island, welcome party for us when we got there and so much thrown in for our honeymoon, they really went above and beyond. Food was amazing for an all inclusive, menu choices and table service, and as we were the only guests for a couple of nights they couldn’t do enough.Thank you so much for organising everything!
