Loved the Beer Sessions at the Marketplace. Great service and atmosphere. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for other events!

The Derby ice rink is indoors this year making it a lot nicer to use. Quick to sort out skates on and off. Great time had by all. Recommend you go and have some fun.

Bit of an odd review this, what should be an incredible idea has a major issue.First the positive, it's a genuinely superb idea staffed by people who are great ambassadors for the city, all helpful and friendly.The bar is run by DBC and you order via the excellent DBC app, the drinks range is slightly limited; however, it's perfectly decent.Live entertainment is a welcome addition, especially after so long without it.And now the issue; we booked in at 6 for the evening, ordered drinks and looked at the food options which was actually really good with most places delivering to the venue..... however they weren't.We tried 5 different restaurants with all of them saying they didn't deliver and couldn't do click and collect either due to being at capacity. Not really any fault of the market place, nor the restaurants, if they're at capacity there's not much they can do. Unfortunately it kinda defeats the purpose of the market place as a venue which is actually quite sad.

Excellent idea to be able to order in from a local pub and eat it alfresco. We had a hut just in case the weather was inclement. We shall certainly do it again

Went to the Derby Beer Festival opening night. It was very well organised with a good atmosphere but not too crowded. It is a nice venue, partly outdoors so not so good in the rain. Great if you need to be Covid safe.

Has some interesting displays, entertainments and events through the year. A distance from the more commercial centre of the city. Assembly Rooms car park is handy, if not cheap.

Always loved this area, it is amazing how much its has changed over the years.Much of it is now pedestrianised, making it a far better experience when exploring the city centre.Huge variety of shops, mostly within a short distance, nice clean and tidy area, mixed buildings from old to modern.Has a great nightlife, good range of pubs, bars and clubs catering for all ages.The indoor Market is a great place to visit.Overall I love the culture, the atmosphere and it has been a great place to visit.

Sadly Derby isn't a great place to visit. Many empty shops now. It's really run down these days.Expensive parking. Unfortunately no metro or tram system though the centre. Nottingham city is so much better

Visited the Christmas market and the ice sculptures. It was mid afternoon so not many people about but all wore face coverings in the market. Enjoyed a rich hot chocolate
