BLACKWOOD STOVES AND FIRES LTD

Do not use this shody company. They are the most unreliable people. Have waited a year for them to come out and see the mess they have fitted. In process of reporting them to HETAS. Do yourself a favour go somewhere else !!! Had to put 1 star to put post on !!! posted for my mum.

Had a wood burner fitted today by Paul and team fantastic group of lads nothing to much trouble arrived on time cleaned up after fitting needed some coal Paul dropped it off same day good service would highly recommend if you need one fitting

Lovely Lowry stove and a perfectly cut slate hearth. Very impressed by both the log burner (soooo much more efficient than my open fire) and the service received. Thank you. Would definitely use again and highly recommend.

Excellent company, reliable, good job done.

We had 2 fitted and when we needed it to be swept the sweep condemned both of ours. The 2nd flue had to have part of the wall removed to get it in situ but they didn't replace the bricks and the flue had a hole in it. This could have been fatal for us if we had lit it but we used only one. The first stove wasn't built to the legal requirements so we had to pay for a new stove and the work to bring it up to the guidelines. Don't bother with them they ignored all our communications and they are rubbish

We are a second time buyer of a woodburner, so we know what we're looking for. In our new house we wanted another from 'Clock'. Paul was happy to supply for us and also suggested some options from Clock which made the installation even better. The finished work is superb, we couldn't be happier. We did have a slight niggle which showed up after about a week and Paul was straight around to rectify it - that is the true test of someone you can trust, the aftersales care.As is often the case online, beware of obviously fake reviews, I can see the tell-tale signs from older 1star reviews for this business, I won't speculate where they may have come from, but you draw your own conclusions.Ours was not a straightforward install (from my point of view), but Paul just got on with it. We're happy to recommend Blackwood Stoves to anyone and everyone.

Great service, decent price and all done in a day, surround, fire, oak beam and plastered. As well as a new flu liner! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Love these guys. They originally put a multi-fuel fire in for us, got the initial job done in less than a day (space in chimney knocked through, chimney sweep, slate hearth, oak mantel, tiling and burner) and plasterer came the next day and did a great job finishing off. A year later still looks great and we're so pleased with it.We've had them round again to do a second job, we'd unfortunately been let down by our kitchen fitter's builder; I decided to contact Blackwood because they're so good, quick and reliable. We needed a space in the chimney knocking through for a cooker, again main job completed in less than a day. I was really confident asking these guys to do the job as they did such a great job first time, and they didn't let us down. I'd highly recommend them to anyone; really reasonable prices, great workmanship, great plaster, they are clearly well versed in what they do and do a brilliant, professional job every time.
