Unfortunately, the model shop finally seems to have closed for good. Was there today, locked door and looked like it had been cleared out. It was a nice shop to have locally through the years, but sadly had been overtaken by the big online retailers. Good luck to the owner.

Ards model centre is an excellent and well stocked facility. You can also get good advice from the owner on how to paint and finish models. In short well worth a visit. With the march of the internet these places are becoming rare in Northern Ireland and should be supported as much as possible.

I was last here in December last year to get Mallard for my birthday. The man at the till was lovely to chat to and the shop all together was amazing!

Great place and so lucky to have it in our town. Shops like this are few and far between. Good range of kits available so something to suit all tastes.

Great model shop, but should open longer than 3pm, does not suit those of us have to work? Also this shop could revert to 5 days opening hours.

Great wee shop, of the kind that you just don't find any more. I only called in to get paint, but also bought other items like glue, brushes, scalpels etc that I forgot that I needed! (First time modeller).I'll definitely be back.

A Great place to pick up paints and other useful modeling items such as clay and wood. This small store has a great owner who can teach you a lot about craft ect

Excellent product knowledge and very friendly. Wide and varied range of models and paints to cater for all ability.Bring cash as they dont use card services.
