Have lived in the area.for many years but had never popped into The Seven Stars. Today we did.Such a warm and polite welcome - lovely staff, good food, good price nice garden. We will be back.

Very nice and cozy pub. Quiet and warm atmosphere, welcoming staff and tasty food. Really gives you the feeling of a family run place. Nice fireplace inside, and plenty of parking outside. Recommended.

Had mixed roast dinner. Had one slice of pork and one slice of beef very nice. Lots of veg. But Had to ask for apple sauce . Horseradish and extra gravy . Expensive for what it was £19.50 per head . Staff very attentive and friendly

My partner and I had The Shepards Pie and Macoroni Cheese. Both were outstanding and yummy. (Thankyou Chef!) Puddings were also tasty. Staff were very attentive. Atmosphere cosy (we were by the fire!) Just a clean, relaxing well run pub!

Every morcel we ate was delicious and the service was excellent... We were even gifted a beautiful carved wooden camel that now lives on my brother's barge nearby... I can't promise every customer will be so lucky but I'm fairly sure you will get the excellent food...

Very friendly, conversational staff.The food was delicious, the best ribs I've ever had.It's got a nice, dimly lit atmosphere which I liked also.The only negative point was there was no high-chair for my little one to sit in, so we had to feed him in his pram, of which he wasn't too keen on.

I’ve been in for a drink under new management which was fine so thought we’d book a table for food for a Sat lunchtime to give them a try… but they didn’t bother telling us they were only serving sandwiches. Not great for gluten intolerant people!Door not unlocked at 12 so knocked - greeted by a grumpy man opening up at 12.05, who then moaned loudly about staff not having got ice, swearing about this loudly behind the bar.I work in hospitality myself and couldn’t have felt less welcome. I had hopes the new team would bring this place up, but clearly not. Inn at Maybury is 100% better and roughly same price point, or in the village head to Half Moon or Jovial for a pint and quick bite - at least you’ll get a smile there.

Great staff, it's a new team running this pub so will return after their refurb finishes towards the end of November. Having said that if today's Sunday Roast was anything to go by it will be a well deserved success. Generous portions with a wide variety of vegetables. Nicely done roasts.
