Helping Hands Home Care Taunton

Finding a care provider who listens to the clients needs and then delivers but does so with compassion and real care can be a challenge. Helping Hands does all of that and in a professional but caring way and my father really looks forward to the visits and the sing a longs they entertain with. I cannot recommend highly enough of this amazing team.

My wife recently passed away my family could see I needed some help especially in the evening's to get the evening meal,they contacted Helping Hands and they have set up help each evening which has been very successful.I have the same help each evening which gives continuity they are polite and nothing is to much trouble they are both a credit to Helping Hands.I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I have been working with helping hands now for about 2 months, previously working for a care company, and have only positive things to say. Working for helping hands has shown me how a care company should be run. The staff a friendly and helpful. Helping Hands has been, throughout the years we've been with them, an exemplary care Provider. During the most difficult and challenging of recent times they have always bent over backwards to fulfil our changing and increasing needs and to relieve as much of my own pressure and stress as they can, whilst caring in the best possible way for my dear father. They adopt an holistic and empathetic approach to the entire family which is so reassuring; I can always trust them to do the very best they can, even when their own resources and staffing are stretched to capacity. The office team is as considerate and lovely to deal with as the carers themselves.; they provide an 'above and beyond' service and I recommend them most highly.

We are so impressed with all of the Helping Hands Team that we have met and I am so grateful I chanced upon the office in Taunton when I was first toying with the thought about asking for help with my Mum.I could not have received a warmer welcome and after a long chat I left armed with information so I could go home and think about what we needed to have in place. When I was ready to proceed we had an assessment appointment and very shortly afterwards our first visit from our wonderful regular pair of helping hands. Neither my Mum or myself could have asked for more. We are delighted with the kindness, service and care. From two very happy new clients.

Helping Hands - Taunton have been there to support my Mother who has vascular dementia now for around 2 years. The team are always extremely happy to help and are almost always happy to put in additional hours at sometimes very short notice, when perhaps Mum has a hospital appointment or when my son and I need respite time. One of the best things is that there are generally no changes to the staff who attend which means that there is a constant team in place that know Mum and her routine well and so that Mum gets to remember her team.Thank-you HH/Taunton :)

I’ve been working for Helping Hands for a month and can only sing their praises. I have wonderful clients which I look forward to seeing. The Management Team are very supportive and always there if you need them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs care or would love to become a carer.

We started with Helping Hands several months ago when It was clear I couldn’t manage my wife’s Alzheimers on my own anymore.It was with great reluctance and concern having no experience of how this new life would work!As the months have gone by it was clear from very early days that this has been the best choice for us, because in that time it was obvious I needed more and more help!Helping Hands have always been so very flexible enabling us to be more independent and knowing both domestically and emotionally we made a great choice. Without exception all the staff who currently care for us are outstanding and build an amazing relationship with my wife who has complete trust in them

At a difficult time and having no knowledge of the care sector, a friend recommended I got in touch with Helping Hands. Quite possibly one of the best decisions I made- the office staff were so caring, patient with my endless questions and absolutely brilliant with my Dad, allaying all his fears and giving him confidence in them. Since then the carers have shown so much empathy with Dad and make him feel like a friend. His favourite T Butcher is just fabulous and goes above and beyond to make the visits fun and enjoyable.I find all the office staff to be so helpful, and will do anything they can to help with my queries and I have the utmost trust in their ability to look after Dad and put his needs first.
