Queen Margaret University

It's an incredible university. Very small but has a really cosy feel. The staff are responsive and care about your education. Film and media has been a blast as I have been given many opportunities for work. The course does involve more theory than some would like because it is a university degree. I would highly recommend.

The University is amazing in terms of staff helpfulness and attitude. They are willing to help whoever needs help or have a problem. The campus is small friendly space with many open spaces for walks and recreation. The University is small as it has only a few numbers of schools and departments, but this comes with the advantage of providing greater opportunities for interacting with professors and class discussion. There is around two or three places for eating and drinking (also Starbucks) with variety of foods and diverse menu (for Veg, and Halal food also)

After graduating your transcripts will never be sent, despite paying the fee! Pay for 4 years of education and CANNOT work as a nurse afterwards! Beware beware beware!!! They only want your money! There is not A SINGLE HELPFUL PERSON THERE!! Not even ONE!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience in my course so far. I am a second year Film & Media student and have found the course to be very diverse in module's , offering knowledge and experience in different fields of Film and Media (not just the production side). I feel that even the less interesting modules have been beneficial to my future career pursuits. Enthusiastic lecturers and great atmosphere, I recommend to anyone interested in any film related career.

I applied as an MA student with my research. The admissions were misleading and took a lot of time to get back with incorrect information. Think before applying and do your own research as there is a possibility for the admissions team to not have enough knowledge about the procedure, especially if you are an international student. I withdrew my application as I did not find this university trustworthy.

This place was much nicer when it was a field. The students park in the station car park leaving no space for commuters trying to catch the train. They also drive at speed through the no entry signs at the bus gate to save them going via the A1. Today I was driven at by someone who claimed they can go through the bus gate if they want because they are a staff member, disgusting way to treat the local community.

Attended the university open day. The uni was clean, bright and airy with a good atmosphere.
