Stated here for 2 nights this week safe to say I'll never stop here again.Rooms are shabby curtains had cigarette burns in them windowsill covered in cigarette burns. Didn't change bed sheets or supply clean towels had to go and ask for clean replacements. Heating not working in bedroom. Dinner was another experience was told when I checked in as a hotel guest you get a 10% discount on your food in the hotel restaurant. So after ordering my meal telling them I was staying there and paying paying the bill of £27.23 I realised they hadn't taken off the discount when I explained this to the bartender he said it had been taken of and show me a 50p discount on my bill. No matter how much I tried he would not have it saying the till took it off and it was right. I then had to get my phone and show him on the calculator how 10% discount worked. In the end he had to go and get a manager to sort it out.

I'm here almost every week and while I rarely have what I'd call a 'bad' experience, it's equally rarely exceptional.It's a very average pub at best. Glasses are regularly not clean, the food is very inconsistent quality, some of the best and worst meals I've ever had were here when ordering the same meal.Overall I enjoy our weekly meals here because it is local but there are better places to eat.

The staff were incredibly friendly and the function room perfect for about 30+ people. The buffet in the room was really nice . The bar a little slow but that was because there was only two serving at the bar when our party arrived 30+ They soon managed queue down. This is not a criticism as the two lady’s worked their sox off and each person they served with a smile. Great staff and great location.

We recently stayed overnight following Ipswich Town away from home. Great budget hotel, costing about £70 for a room including breakfast for two. Tried the local delicacy, Parmo. Wow, what a dish. Fantastic. Wow, what a calorie count!! Nice staff and special mention to Kirsty who was lovely. Big adjacent car park. Very friendly locals and lots of great micro pubs in the town.

I Visited Blue Bell and I found parking very easy , parked right outside the front door. The staff were very freindly and really engaged with me.The drinks I ordered were of a very high quality and very affordable. Food was amazing hot and delicious I had Parmo with home made chips. The overall cleanliness of the venue was very clean from the toilets to glassware.I highly recommend Blue Bell to anyone passing through.

Stayed on Wednesday, had a brilliant experience, manager was very welcoming and has done wonders in his short time there. Room was very comfortable and food and drink delicious. Overall the pub and hotel was absolutely spotless, can't wait to visit again

We have just had a funeral buffet in the Bluebell Hotel and it was excellent. The quality and quantity of food outstanding, the function room was immaculate and the welcome warm. Kirsty and team quickly arranged tables for the flower tributes and worked so hard. They also took control of the bar area. We are so grateful: you did my mum proud!

Came in yesterday for a Xmas party, the room was decorated lovely, the food was outstanding very well cooked and presented.I’m guessing it’s under new management as it’s improved so much since our last visit and they are clearly working very hard.The team were attentive all night, ended up booking a room also and was very impressed with how clean the room was, bed was very comfy, hotel was nice and quiet and had a great nights sleep.Would defiantly return now I have seen how much it’s improved.

Buffet choice, quality, and quantity were fantastic. Staff and other patrons were respectful and polite (we were a funeral party). Location was very near to the crematorium. Didn't use the hotel rooms.
