Townsend Touring and Camping Park

Since first visiting in 2020 until now, we've absolutely loved our time here.The site is very well maintained and the toilet block is clean and tidy.Su and Geoff are really friendly and only too willing to help.The site is located at the end of Pembridge village and the shop, cafe and Red Lion pub are only a 5 minute walk from the site entrance and definitely worth a visit.You can order fresh pizza on a Friday and Saturday from the cafe.Leominster and Kington are only a 20 minute drive away and Hereford about 25 minutes away.The are plenty of walks and places to see around Pembridge and it's a good base to venture out into Wales or to Gloucester or Worcester for the day.If you are looking for a peaceful well maintained site within striking distance of many great places, this is definitely site to choose.

The nicest people,and the best camping we have ever been on. Very big pitches with own power water and even waste water point.

Lovely touring and camping park. We stayed in Barn Owl pod and were very happy with our stay. The pod was a perfect size for us and although it's very basic it is clean, well kept and cosy. We were very thankful for the radiator! The pod had a picnic bench and BBQ which we made use of. The facilities block was clean and well looked after. Pembridge is a very small and quiet village with a couple of pubs and not much else but this suited us as we love spending some time in the countryside in a quiet location. We would highly recommend installing some more lights as we went out in the evening and as it was so dark we struggled to find our way back and had to use our phone lights. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

We come here as much as we can. So here we are for another week. We always book on hardstanding super pitch. The camp site and the amenity block is very clean, showers are hot and powerful, toilets are clean. Fishing lake is really good. But most of all Su and Geoff the owners are very friendly and helpful. There’s a great pub called The Red Lion in walking distance in village which does lovely food, the people in there make you very welcome. There’s a bus stop right opposite the pub. Which takes you into Leominster. What more could you want. Can’t wait to go back. Keep up good work Su & Geoff.

Great hobbit semi buried buildings. We stayed in Badger Court. 2 bedrooms plus 2 adjoining bunk beds attached to one of the bedrooms. A kitchen that would look great in a normal house. The living room was more of a bench sofa style thing. Very nice!

Great stay. Really nice park. And lady that runs it, is very nice amd accommodating. Highly recommend.

The pumpkin patch. Best time ever with my 3 children, and it is fantastic value for money. Loved the spook trail at dark. Highly recommended
