Don't bother planning a night here. Shut up shop before closing time even though we're at the door. Turns off lights and pretends there not there?? Very strange behaviour and considering the economy even weirder. First chance and last chance. Plenty of other pubs nearby that's probably a better choice

First time here, the Carvery was amazing and the cakes were just out of this world. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will visit again when next in the Cotswolds.

We went mid week, choice of 3 meats good selection of veg, but cauliflower cheese was mush, left under hot lights to long. The smallest sprouts in the world under cooked, peas were wrinkled. Best gravy ever, really thick and tasty. Staff friendly.

Our friends came down from Scotland and we booked for a carvery on Sunday lunchtime 3/09/23.It was fantastic. Food was superb, staff were attentive but not annoyingly disturbing. In summary, we've been here for breakfast on several occasions and never been disappointed by either. Hats off to the management and staff for a brilliant meal.

Ultimate drinks are huge and good value for money. There is a good choice of food and it is all well cooked and tasty. Whilst the staff are friendly enough, there is no real warmth apart from one or two of them. They are just doing a job, if you know what I mean. We always go in a large group and there is always a delay in bringing the food and both times they have forgotten to bring a couple of dishes. Will I go again? Most definitely. Roast's are to die for.

As always the welcome was good but not overbearing, the bar staff friendly, the chef at the carvery very pleasant. Food lovely with lots of choice of different veg, potatoes and meet all freshly cooked. Mega sized drink super value. will i come again? you bet? value for money, free parking everything just the right balance. Tom our server was so friendly. Be back soon. Sue & Derek

Absolutely incredible!!! Such an amazing experience. Food was insanely good, and the cake selection was to die for!! As a former chef at a different greene king pub, I have to applaud your chefs for their fantastic food and all their hard work!!

Adequate customer service and friendly staff.My partner and I came for breakfast on Sunday 16th April, and we’re very disappointed.I got the smashed avocado and two patched free-range eggs on sourdough bread (£4.99) and my partner got a sausage and egg muffin with two hash browns (£3.99), as well as both our drinks.Avocado and eggs:This dish was underwhelming to say the least, i received a single end slice of sourdough bread, the avocado was unseasoned and bland, and the eggs were jelly with some type of seasoning that looked promising but didn’t taste like anything. Left still hungry.Sausage and egg muffin:My partner couldn’t finish their muffin due to the sausage patty being too hard of a texture.The hash browns and the drinks are the only items that I purchased that we were satisfied with.
