Pulse Practice - Jo Sunner BSc(ost). DO. Musculoskeletal pain consultant.

I recently visited Jo at pulse practice for lower spine pain. Very professional puts your mind at rest and in my case found that I needed to have a MRI scan to find out what the underlying problem was causing my pain as it kept returning after a few days. He also helped me with my doctors to get scan which makes you feel much better knowing that your not left to suffer in silence. When I get my results I can then go back to JO and see how I can progress forward to be pain free. I would recommend this practice to anyone as it is straight talking puts you at rest and offers an excellent patient care.

I first consulted Jo in spring 2020 with a debilitating and at times extremely painful old rugby injury that was preventing me from training. I was extremely grateful for him being able to see me at such short notice. Jo very quickly and instinctively diagnosed and treated the problem at source and the rate of recovery was astonishingly fast and complete. I’ve since seen him in relation to another injury that was rugby related, and again the outcome was similarly successful, which in turn has allowed me to train without restrictions, and for that I am incredibly grateful. Jo possesses enormous medical knowledge and skill, and has a manner that is both witty and empathetic which in turn puts patients at ease. I can only echo what many others have said, I cannot recommend Jo highly enough.

Review from Lesley PerrinAbove and beyond service received. After my first visit Jo recommended an MRI scan as he wasn’t totally sure what the problem was and didn’t want to do any damage. He organised an MRI scan for me the next day and then organised for me to see an orthopaedic consultant the following day. He made all these arrangements for me late in the evening through his many contacts . His service was absolutely above and beyond and he gave up his personal time to do so. Jo was recommended to me and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone else who has any difficulties.

After years of seeing various physios, chiropractors and osteopaths, a few weeks ago I was recommended Jo Sunner. Upon my first telephone conversation I soon realised I was dealing with someone who actually knows what they are talking about!! Jo arranged for me to have an MRI scan the following day, he has since arranged for me to see a pain management consultant. All of this was within less than 2 weeks of my initial phone call.The pain management consultant is needed to deal with my immediate pain relief, but I'm 100% confident that in the long term, Jo's treatment plan with ensure I have a good road to recovery.I can't recommend his service high enough.

Having never been to see Jo before, I rang with a trapped nerve in my lower back. He got me in the same day and released it taking away the major pain leaving me able to walk better. After two further visits and some weeks of healing my back feels better than it has in a long time. If he can help you he will do so quickly with incredibly good advice. Thank you Jo

I was recommended Jo by fellow dental colleague. I was suffering from upper back and neck pain. Jo saw me at short notice, a few hours after I called him to be specific. I felt a huge improvement in my symptoms after the first appointment. Jo has got a lovely, kind, calm and professional manner about him and puts you at ease straight away. Jo very kindly saw me at short notice when I was suffering from dizzy spells. He performed the Epley manoeuvre on me which has worked very well and I haven't had a recurrence since.I would highly recommend him.

After suffering with a bad back for months and pain killers not helping I gave in and called Jo and he fitted me in straight away. He provides good advice friendly and professional and creates a relaxing environment. and great service I had 3 visits and my back was so much better and so far not needed another appointment.
