This is the second time we have used Adams Harrison in Saffron Walden and worked with Jack Stewart - their service is absolutely flawless. Working with them is a pleasure and has made our lives so much easier!Jack is extremely professional and provided exceptional service both times. He raced to provide all of the reports needed to complete our exchange while under a lot of unfair and undue pressure from our buyer and estate agent (review below). It is very hard to find solicitors that have your best interest at heart and will defend your position, while dealing with very difficult 3rd party. We can't thank Jack enough for dealing with all of the unpleasantries that unfortunately happened during our sell.We couldn't be happier with their service and will continue to use them for all of our future needs. We cannot recommend them enough when you're looking for solicitors in the area.

Fabulous service and the best solicitor I have dealt with for conveyancing. Sold 2 properties and bought a very old property with lots of issues with the help of Jack Stewart during 2019. Gave us lots of sound advice and help along the way. Brilliant - highly recommend!

I used Adams’s Harrison for the purchasing of a property. I was originally represented by Jack in saffron Walden and he was very good. However, Jack was then put on furlough and I was transferred to the Haverhill branch. All members of staff at this branch can only be described as incompetent. Starting with their receptions staff.Since this abysmal service on my first buy I have now used Tee’a saffron Walden and I would recommend anyone looking for a solicitor to use Tee’s instead of Adams Harrison.

Excellent attentive service throughout a recent conveyancing transaction.

Terrible service and very poor levels of knowledge. Took them 8 months to deal with a simple sale of a semi detached house only to then fall over when they requested undertakings that would be illegal and impossible. Take 3 weeks to respond to any query. Avoid this solicitor, either as your legal rep or that of the other party.

I cannot recommend highly enough, we had issues with an employer and we were given very prompt support throughout which made the whole experience much less stressful. Also reasonably charged with small increments and offered most cost effective ways to address the issue. Jennifer Carpenter was the solicitor dealing with us.

I’m not a client and anyone can write a review, in that sense you have to take all of these with a pinch of salt. Don’t believe me, please please speak to your estate agent, friend or anyone with experience before appointing them or becoming involved in a chain where they are representing any party. My experience was persistently horrific, not one instance but at every opportunity. My purchase only succeeded at great personal and financial cost and with the assistance of a great solicitor and estate agent. They earned their money the hard way.

We were recommended Jack Stewart from numerous family members as the solicitor to use when purchasing our first house. Jack has been brilliant from start to finish providing us with support and advice throughout. Everything he has done has been in depth and although it wasn’t a smooth sailing process, Jack put in 110% right through to the end. We are very grateful for everything Jack has done and if and when we need to, we will be using him again in the future. I would definitely recommend him as a solicitor when buying a house!

Absolutely shocking and distressing experience! Normally, when you go to see a solicitor you would expect to get some help, clarification and at least a sympathetic understanding of your case, especially if you have seen the solicitor involved before. That should classify you as a client. Although we had prepared the matter for discussion and sent the relevant correspondence beforehand as requested we were rushed through the meeting, in a very offhand and disinterested manner by the solicitor whilst she kept looking at her watch when we had hardly had the time to discuss the matter in sufficient further detail. What was not clear was the proportion of the charge made for reading the short paperwork sent in advance and how much time was available for the discussion. We feel we have been treated as second class citizens in spite of the fact that if the solicitor would have organized the meeting more effectively we would have been very happy to pay whatever was necessary for the purpose. Sadly, we wouldn't recommend this firm, ever! Being so disrespectful to a client may be fashionable for some professional people nowadays, but it is never ethically acceptable!
