Finally, a good playground in Wakefield! They’ve done an amazing job refurbing Thornes park playground. Really busy on a Saturday. It’ll be a great spot for the kids as spring and summer comes in.

EXCELLENT playground! Equipment for disabled children is brilliant and I loved seeing this installed as I don't believe most places are inclusive enough!Clean, safe and exciting for my kids! And LOTS of parking.

The usual McTrash littered here and there. A couple of the entrance gates had chains on them today, not sure why... Also got accused of being a racist for trying to talk to a group leader about the behaviour of the children under his charge. Will take that up with the council, not right that kids should have to hear such vulgar language from anyone, especially not from their own role model.
