SIXT Car & Van Hire - Belfast City Airport

Billy helped us with our car rental and really went above and beyond with his customer service. He answered all of my many questions and was patient, kind and understanding. He helped us to better understand what was covered with our insurance policy and he made sure that we had a car that would be comfortable for our group by upgrading us to a larger vehicle. He had a great sense of humor, great customer service…as long as all goes well with the return of our vehicle, I would definitely recommend this company for your Belfast car rental! Also, being located in the city, it’s super easy to get to from the city center, so it’s great if you choose to add on a day trip to explore the northern coast last minute like we did! Thank you, Billy! You made the whole experience easy, fun and educational! :)

Billy and Roy were great to deal with this morning. They had great people skills and went above and beyond to make sure I was given the best possible experience. Everything was very straightforward and I was even guided through the use of the van before departure. Shout out to Dan who even washed it for me before taking it away. Great experience and will definitely be back again. Open all weekend too with great rates available in comparison to other local companies.

Nothing bad to say about this.Checking in was quite quick. Staff friendly.I didn't use the insurance and wasn't pressured to upgrade. You have to pre Auth a credit card for £1.5kOn hand back there was no one in the car park, so just took pictures of the car and handed in keys at check in.No extra charges. A few days later the pre Auth was removed.The car was brand new with 5k miles and very clean.

Richie was so helpful and gave us a lot of tips for where to stop by along our drive route for good sights, food, and to make sure we hit up the distillery!David followed up and gave us info about the car controls and even where to park at our hotel. Both Richie and David were friendly and far more accomodating than other car rental attendants we've had before!

Our counter person Billy was simply outstanding with professionalism & personality. Very easy to get & return car on all fronts. Loved the car a BMW 500series sedan!

- long wait at the office upon arrival- was charged an additional £135 because I didn’t have a credit card in the driver’s name (despite the ‘what to bring with you’ email making no mention of a credit card)- agent has contacted me a day after returning the vehicle to say I was actually undercharged and they will be taking an additional £30, removing my financial autonomy despite it being a result of their mistake.- complaints team very difficult to get hold of and, despite raising a complaint, I am yet to get any written confirmation of this.

Fantastic staff. Billy in particular. Such a gentleman. Great service and value for money. Honestly can't fault any of it. Made a very stressful move a lot easier with one less thing to worry about. Quick handover and drop off. Will definitely use again.
