We have been here a few times so it was about time we left a review. We visited in July on a Saturday night. The food is always excellent. My wife had the chicken burger and I had the pork from the specials menu. Both meals were excellent, well cooked, fresh and tasted lovely. No complaints about the service. Staff friendly, helpful and always a nice choice of tables. This venue is always a favourite. Keep up the good work.

Food was lovely, all the staff were helpful and smiley, my pudding was the Eton Mess pancakes from the specials board and was amazing. My only query would be wheelchair access to the disabled loo which is up one step.

I recently stopped by for a cup of coffee, and I was thoroughly impressed! The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the cozy atmosphere as I walked in. The barista was friendly and skilled, crafting a perfect cup of coffee that warmed my soul. It was rich, smooth, and just the right temperature. The ambiance of the inn made it even more enjoyable. A great place to savor a cup of java. I'll definitely be back!

Poor to be honest. Beer was awful, glass for wine was filthy, and the vinegar we were given looked as though it had been preserving body parts. Disappointing is the politest I can say!! Complained, was made to feel awkward about it, as though we were in the wrong.Place was like a ghost town, understandably so given the lack of customer satisfaction and attention to detail.

We haven’t visited this pub in 10 years and can honestly say what a great place. We were greeted by the amazing staff and nothing was too much trouble. The food very tasty, hot, well presented and no waiting around even thou a large order had gone in before ours. Most of all the customer service was outstanding. Will be definitely visiting again with my family. Great place, great atmosphere thank you.

Visited yesterday evening. Exemplary service from the moment we walked through the door. Greeted and seated instantly. Enjoyed the food. Did not visit with a dog but good to know they are welcome too. Nice dog board with lovely dog photos. I would not hesitate to revisit.

Really nice visit.Sunday lunch, booked for 2pm.Arrived slightly early and was seated straight away.Drinks order was taken, whilst looking at menu. Unfortunately, the wrong drink arrived at the table but was charged straight away with absolutely no fuss at all.Food arrived swiftly and was delicious, good portion to cost ratio.We were checked on after the first couple of minutes, which was nice.Deserts were equally as nice and accommodated a personal change from ice cream to custard (2 x jugs even!)Forgot to add we had an acute nut allergy, which was noted at arrival, and there was no issue at all.I've been before and I'll go again... should say it all. 10/10 thanks team.

Lovely place with relaxed atmosphere. Front of house staff couldn't be faulted but when member of kitchen staff brought something to the table he looked annoyed and almost spilt it. That attitude unfortunately spoils the overall experience. I found the roast to be quite salty so I wouldn't have that again but would certainly visit again and have something else from the menu.

Dropped in on the off-chance of a table for 5, and the greeting was superb.Drinks, Main course and dessert all excellent only made better by Mia.Mia was cheerful, polite, and professional and made our visit special.Definitely return, thank you.
