Great little nature reserve. Flat path. Quite small only 3000 steps to walk around. Regular information posts dotted about so you know what your meant to be looking for. Small coffee shop at entrance with view over lake. Car park right by entrance but you have to pay.

Nice gentle pathways with lots of bird and insect life. Suitable for prams and wheelchairs with a bit of care - listen to the reeds blowing in the breeze!

Last I have rated this as a 4 star, for me, something has to be exceptional to be 5.This is a beautiful Location close to a very convenient large car park, charges apply. A nature reserve tea shop furnished with cakes and a drink for refreshment. A great shelter if the weather's somewhat inclement with a good viewing window. There are a couple of a couple of hides which can be found on the reserve. Not being bird watches particularly, but lovely particularly but lovely to see various birds in their wild habitat. There is a circular walk around the reserve, probably allow there an hour for a stroll around the reserve.Note, if travelling any greater distance there is a beach and a Harbour which are both interesting and worth a walk around. Another reserve is a relatively short distance away short distance away at Lodmore.

Beautiful bird life on the Radipole Lake. Be sure to have a cup of tea and use the telescope in the cafe

The reed beds are rather overgrown compared to the last time I visited (about 5 years ago). There used to be a sandy cliff which was used by sand martins and there also were roosting points for kingfishers. We couldn't see either.

Lovely walk around reed beds in a peaceful environment. Boardwalk is easy to walk on. Popular with dog walkers. Nice cafe with homemade cakes near the entrance. Lots of pay and display parking adjacent.

Amazing to find such a beautiful place so close to the town centre. Easy to get to, just a 5 min walk from the railway station. Great place to see a variety of Birds including Marsh Harrier and Reed Warblers. A great place for a family day out.
