We have been coming to this site with our Motorhome. Such a friendly site. Quite and tranquil. Toilets spotlessly clean. Large shower. Everything you need. The owner Carol is very friendly and homely. I would recommend this site.Lorna and RobertBury

Really lovely holiday cottages. Set on a working farm and surrounded by sheep so flies in the summer. Entrance track a bit uneven, you would want a 4 x 4 to get down it comfortably. Cottage beautifully finished. Could do with a shelf in the en-suites, fly screens at windows and doors and the instructions for the hob need redoing but apart from that it was really lovely.

We stayed in one of the cottages, Millers Wheel, its very spacious and finished to a high standard, and was also spotlessy clean. As another reviewer mentioned, it could do with a shelf in the bathroom, I ended up lining up our bits and bobs up along the bath, but you often find this at holiday accomadation. We had a very comfortable week, in a very nice cottage. Yes the track is a bit bumpy, but you could see they stay on top of this by regualary filling any holes that appear.

We stayed in the cottages nearby to this campsite.It was excellent.Our only annoyance was route to the cottage - its an ungraded dirt track that has a large number of ruts in the track. Taking it slowly is OK, but the bumps in the road are not fun over a weeks stay.Also, the amount of dust on my car after a week was horrid. Yes, it just washes off, but yuck.

Can't go wrong with the price and location. Secure entry gate over night, quiet with all facilities needed. Site is on a slight hill and worse in places. Absolutely spotlessly clean

Lovely little secluded spot with one of the cleanest toilet/shower blocks I’ve come across recently. We were only passing through and the owners were happy to book us in last minute for a single night.Great short walk leading off the site towards Spofforth Castle ruins, and you must pick up a coffee en route from Trev’s Truck, good price for great quality flat white.
