Moat Park Play Park

Love this park, my granddaughter and I go most Saturdays, great, tidy and handy to the shop for ice lollies

Nice place to play for children. Usually under 12. Secured, near the police station

Excellent playground equipment all very clean and in great repair.Nice selection of equipment.Well maintained surrounding grounds. Seven and nine years old girls had a great time.

Not bad for a small park I think it could do will some more swings and other things has it is usual busy

This play park is very good, but only as a local attraction for kids , or a passing place to drop in.While the likes of the newly refurbished Stormont play park and Wallace Park in Lisburn are places you can bring a picnic, and along with surrounding facilities, spend a day with kids , Moat Park is a good playground for local people, or people passing through that need to let the kids out of the car before they throttle them :-)There is a nice local cafe (cafe nosh) close by, also a McDonald's, as well as a shop that sells a good selection of ice cream etc , all within a 2 minute walk.I should also add that this play Park may be seen as a godsend to anyone having to bring children to Ulster Hospitals Dundonald as visitors, or as patients - I'm sure hundreds of parents are glad they could let their kids blow off steam for reasons good or bad, in this play park which is directly across the road from the hospital.The play park is 30 seconds from a glider stop, and has car parking adjacent.This is a place where you can leave the kids and walk the dog in the surrounding grounds while keeping an eye on the playpark almost all the time.Finally, this play Park in Dundonald area is long overdue - it's recently opened but when compared with the play parks in Moira Demense, Wallace Park or even Hillsborough, it's understandable why ratepayers in the increasingly metropolis-like Dundonald (more houses being built weekly if you're interested) are puzzled as to what they are getting now they part of the LISBURN and Castlereagh council marriage of convenience. It's a great play park for those that live near, it's magnificent compared to it's predecessor, but that was not, by any stretch of the imagination, a very high bar for which to strive....

Good playpark. Car park right next to it. The play park is enclosed and offers plenty of things for children to play on. There are items for children of all ages.
