Went to this fish and chip shop for the first time 2weeks ago, it was lovely fish and chips, decided to get some last week but the fish was over cooked but was still nice, today we went again and I have to say the fish was over cooked again and had a small amount of fish in the middle and the chips were hard and rubbery, what happened from 2 weeks ago I don’t know!!! Maybe they’re concentrating on the just eat orders, will give them one more try next week in the hope they were one offs!!!!

Has been a beautiful fish and chip shop for the last few years.so was saddened to see it had passed hands-best fish & chips in wyke bar none! Thought I'd give the new owner a go,looks like he's kept on quite a few of previous workers and Unbelievably it's gone up another notch: beautifully fresh cooked to order fish flakes &melts in mouth with banging crisp batter fresh potatoes that are cooked to perfection....they also dare to cook them till they're brown and crispy not white and anemic looking like the vast amount of fish and chip shops. You'd think it wouldn't be that hard 2 cook 2 products to perfection or at least well,but you'd be surprised in my experience most fish and chip shops leave me underwhelmed or straight disappointed and angry! So lucky to have this gem in wykeThis is a brilliant plaice!!! Thank you for caring about food!!!

Really tasty fish & chips but I’ve honestly never had such a small fish, really disappointed by this, it’s not cheap either.

Offer delivery yet charge way more for the food then it cost nearly 8 for fish and chips is just stupid! Liked this place before New money dying owners only care about making money and not the food or the regulars in the area!

Lovely chippy. The masala fish has got to be the best around and the staff are so friendly. Highly recommend. Great batter on the fish and the chips are great too.

The food was decent in means of cooking, but I'm a bit perplexed at some pricing or portion sizes. A regular fish is about £6.50. They do larger sizes, one of which is King Size which is about £11.50. Thought I would try it thinking it would be nearly twice size of regular as it's near twice the price. It was barely any bigger than the regular my partner had ordered, and probably same size as a regular in most other chip shops. Has really put me off, shall revert back to going down brighouse in future.
