Went in store today to inquire about newborn car seats. Even though the staff did appear some what knowledge about their products ish!.. I was told that on top of the type I wanted that would be fixed into the car itself and not portable.. I woukd also need a car seat carrier to take my baby out of the hospital.. This to me sounded utterly ridiculous that a hospital would not allow you to leave with your baby, without a carrier/ portable car seat when you had a perfectly acceptable one already in your car.. I said i wouldn't need that as I woukd use the fixed one and they both proceeded to tell me I had no choice and one of the tried to tell me he had 2 children and that was policy. Needless to say I of course double checked this to be told by professionals this certainly wasn't the case at all, as long as I could prove if asked we had a suitable car seat in the car!.. I think I will still to looking online in future.

After spending over £100 and getting a taxi home to realise part of the baby walker is broken. Was clearly a return that they sold me as they had to go upstairs for it, it wasn’t on the shelves like the others.

Made to feel like thieves from the moment we walked through the door, we had our little girl with us age 6 (who’s birthday money we’d gone to spend) and our 1 year old we got a trolley for her to sit in as she’d woke from a nap and had bambi legs, various members of staff either walking past us or circling us, including the manager who looked at the items in our trolley quite obviously, we both know these tactics as we both work in retail and know the importance of security but this was discrimination I believe as we’re a younger looking couple It really did put a dampener on our experience and probably would have purchased more if not for this …Shame because the store is nice and tidy easy to navigate we’ve been a few times before as we are also big kids :-(

Was in store yesterday and was served by Sam. A more friendly and knowledgable person you couldn't wish to meet. Nothing was too much trouble for her.

Visited the Kirkstall Bridge store today to purchase car seats for our granddaughter We were served by a member of staff Michael who was without doubt one of the best retail stores person I have come across in a very long time anywhere. He was friendly knowledgeable extremely patient and supportive nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for your help today Michael

Never had a great experience here and tonight was a low point. You get two days to pick up a click & collect item so when you go out of your way to manage it, it's not exactly helpful when the staff won't let you pick the item up as they can't use the computers. It may have been a genuine IT issue but that was my only chance to collect so they'll now have to issue a refund whilst I buy it from somewhere else and never return. Possibly an overreaction but that carpark is a complete mare too, taking ages to get out onto the main road, so well worth avoiding!

The security guard is aggressive and NEEDS to be sacked. He just scared the life out of me and my 90 year old father!! Terrible aggressive horrible man!!! Avoid this store!!!

Bought a bike for my grandson last week, paid the £10.00 to build the bike up. Was promised to be ready Tuesday this week. Didn't hear anything rang and rang and rang ... no answer. Finally was able to get to the store today (Xmas eve) to find that the bike had not been built and would be after Christmas, which is obviously not acceptable. We said we would take the display model , but the assistant said the manager would not permit that. This was eventually agreed so we did have a bike to take away. I know its Christmas in a toy shop which is going to be busy. But they should know that too surely.
