There Samosas used to be among the best in Glasgow. The quality has gone down with increase in price. Now supposedly mince samosa has very little mince in predominantly potatoes filling. Customer service can be improved. Having the option to use card for payment will also help especially when you have pandemic like Covid.

Halawa puri not good very cold and they took 30 minutes to give us order. We order only 1 portion Very slow service no point to stand 30 minutes for cold halwa puri.

Best samosa salad in Glasgow? I think so! Not much more to say really, byriani is really nice when they have it, and really reckoned to get down early on a Sunday morning for fresh channa poori

Went here for lunch and had the famous samosa salad - biggest mistake ever. Worst case of food poisoning ive ever had in my entire life. Been in bed 4 days throwing up! The shop is clearly out dated and decor still living in the 1980's. Sauces are watered down, samosa wasnt even hot nor crispy i personally myself wouldnt recommend this place. Cant comment on the sweets but i cant see them being fresh either!Ive had to report this place to H&S at Glasgow City Council!

I recently visited Shandar Sweets & Pan House in Glasgow, and while I enjoyed the sweets, my overall experience was soured by the rude attitude of the staff. The sweets themselves were decent and had a good taste, which made it a shame that the customer service did not match up.Unfortunately, the staff seemed to have a dismissive and unfriendly attitude towards me and other customers. It was quite off-putting and detracted from the otherwise enjoyable experience. On the plus side, the pricing at Shandar Sweets & Pan House is budget-friendly, which is a definite plus for those looking for affordable sweet treats in Glasgow. However, the poor service may make it hard for some customers to justify a return visit.Overall, while the sweets are good, the poor customer service makes it difficult to recommend Shandar Sweets & Pan House. If you're looking for budget-friendly sweets and don't mind the rude staff, then it might be worth a visit. However, there are likely other sweet shops in Glasgow that offer both great sweets and good customer service.

Seems to have went downhill in recent months. Samosas have very little mince filling, mostly pastry but they will charge £1.40 a samosa. Barfi and ladoo etc generally fresh and of a good quality. They will only take cash which is annoying and has been inconvenient a few times. Prices seem to have increased compared to even a few months ago.

This was my first visit to Shandar. A friend said that they do excellent samosas, so that is why I went there. Once I saw the sort of things that they had, I just went into spend" mode. I bought two 1kg boxes of assorted Asian sweets (custom selections) and a dozen samosas. It was £24 in total. I have only eaten one potato samosa so far
