The Barber Shoppe

Went this morning for a trim. Got a friendly welcome from the lady as soon as I entered the building and her hair cut was first class. Fair prices. The shop was clean and tidy. Nice friendly atmosphere. Can't go wrong.

I took my son here yesterday and the staff were lovely! My little boy is 10 months old next week and was in sure need of a haircut. It looks amazing and they were so kind when he started to get restless. I will definitely be coming back here X

This place has really gone down hill, worst hair cut I've had in a long long time, doesn't match on either side, no proper blending, really poor standard, feel like i need to go to a different hairdressers and pay them to fix the mess caused by this barbers, seemed like a rush job to get you in and out of the chair as quickly as possible, was only me in the place, what's the rush? It's definitely time for a change of barbers.

The best and only barber shop I go to. Great staff and great prices. Staff do all ranges of ages and accompany well and truly for them too.

Been here 3 times this year & haircuts are ok , however, visited Friday last week ,and have to say this is the worst haircut I’ve ever had , far too short with no proper blending & ive now got 1side and inch longer and no hair at the back as it’s been clippered way too high all the way around nothing like I asked for , with no graduation or scissor over comb to blend the clipper work in as I asked for .Ive been in this industry for over 35 years and know how to ask for a hair cut , I’m now left with a cut that’s awful And unmanageableVery disappointed and can’t understand why basic cutting terms and head terminology is not understoodIt’s a basic knowledge and requirement for any hairdresser and barber to know

This review is based on my last 2 visits on a Friday .. not any other time.I have a 2 year old boy who has had a fear of hairdressers but now accepting again but can still be a bit teary to start with. The women in the shop are really patient and accommodating, so huge thank you for that.The last two visits we have been served by the male, the first hair cut was very rushed and very short and no layers or difference I felt he cut it all to the same length quickly to get us out.Yesterday I visited my son didn’t want to sit alone and wanted to sit on my knee, proceeded to cry. The man then mocked my son, quite a lot by saying “come on little girl sit on mummies knee little girl”. This is not okay, nor acceptable. I wish I had said something on the spot but I was trying to ensure my son was relaxed to get his hair cut.I will not return now on a Friday which is a shame as this the easiest day for us as a family. I’m now going to need to re arrange childcare to attend on other days to avoid this male.I won’t accept my child being mocked for being a little scared, it’s taken alot of persuasion and patience by family and thankfully your other staff to get my son to even walk into the hairdressers. I don’t need him being laughed at for crying.
