Brilliant place for our little pets to go on holiday, whilst we go on our own holiday. They've been doing too Keepers for a number of years now. Always well looked after.

Just sent my two large, nervous rescue dogs here for the first time. I was quite worried, but they seemed to have a lovely time - have come back really relaxed and happy. Couldn’t ask for more! Such a relief to have found somewhere safe and secure for them. Also worth using the bark and bounce field too - we did that twice before they used the kennels so they would associate the place as somewhere happy.

First time staying for my 4 year old male pug, I had communication and pictures and my pug who is very nervous even let the team at keepers have a photo holding him!I’m over the moon with his stay he looked happy and healthy and I would not hesitate in him staying again. Thank you so much keepers ❤️

I placed my cat in their care whilst I was on holiday for 2 week's.Felix, my cat had really missed me & since I brought him home he just stays by my side. But the service I received was amazing! The girl's were really lovely and very caring & really seemed to love doing what they do.My cat Felix doesn't usually go to anyone but when he was in his carry case he pushed his head onto one of the girl's hands, which to me is a really big deal.

My dog, Oscar, has just spent some time here whilst we had to go away. He has been very well looked after and was happy and healthy when I picked him up. All the staff that I spoke to were friendly and helpful and I would definitely take Oscar there again.

Unfortunately I have to be negative today and highlight what happened when collecting my pup after boarding at Keepers Kennels. If this was not a personal matter I would not bother, however my dog means the world like other dog owners.I do not expect to collect my 14 month old dog in the state I did.Other witnesses/owners were on hand too.Bare in mind I had family communicate with the kennels during my holiday by dropping certain foods and nothing wrong was mentioned. On collection he had fresh blood from his mouth area, blood from his mouth on his white paws and later in the day I noticed his right eye ball completely blood shot. The kennels advised me that Dexter does not like the slip rope style lead yet this is all they will use.If my dog, a social able and friendly pup does not like something then why traumatise him and continue to use it.Because of this scenario the kennels would not able to exercise him proper and for aday over 2wks did not mention it to anyone of my family or contact me.Staff here I find rude, arrogant and very unprofessional. This review is the start of a complaints procedure and hopefully stop any other dog owner from going through this. Definitely do your research before handing your dog over.Do not just go on recommendations as this kennels can only manage small to medium breeds or older less active dogs.Never again would I put my dog through this, it's unfair.Keepers Kennels are a disgrace. Please do not believe the reply to my review. My dog is a 14 month, socialised, behaved XL Bully. He does not take to being choked like any other animal or person. You was pulling the slip lead making Dexter more traumatised. You guys have traumatised my young male dog (a pup still) and burst the vessels in his right eye. He is at the vets tomorrow to see if any other injuries have occurred whilst in your care. He ran off because you flicked the lead at me without me knowing and unable to catch. This was due to the amount of fresh blood around his mouth and on his paws. He will not be coming back and neither will any other dog owner I know or speak to whilst out walking Dexter (on and off his lead). He scratched your arm probably due to being mistreated. As I say, never ever will I leave him with a boarding kennels after this disgusting experience. I request your complaints procedure and I will be taking this further.
