Star Renovations

Well just had my house made fully secure by theses guys.We can keep an eye on our house. Even while were in spain, all on my phone and laptop. Fantastic service and price many thanks dave and sue.

Replaced our front and back doors, everything was brilliant and quality of the new doors are fantastic. Communication throughout was great and I always felt like I was kept in the loop. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again!

The job was to replace a corrugated roof & add insulation. The workmen, Mark & Richard were efficient, tidy & polite. An excellent service.

I have just had a porch installed by Star Renovations and I'm over the moon with it. These guys came to my rescue after I had been ripped off with a large amount of money by Rainy Day Home Improvements in Burnley. After 6 months I'm still fighting to get my deposit back from them. I was told by someone to get in touch with Star Renovations as they were 100% sure they would help me out. I said it was pointless as id lost a lot of money paying the first deposit and didn't have enough to go ahead with the job with what I had left but I was told to Just ring them "

Do not deal with this company, they come across as your best friends, offer a good quote(although they couldn’t beat a competitor on windows/doors and rendering on separate occasions) then continue to ring & chase you months/years down the line wanting to visit and do more work. I’ve blocked all of their numbers from contacting me and they persist ringing from a no caller ID number. GET THE MESSAGE. I’m not interested in anything and stop harassing me. It’s the same guy ringing me every time, if you continue hounding me monthly I’ll take it further. You haven’t been competitive enough on the 2 occasions you’ve quoted on, your telemarketing tactics are not welcome. I’ve now left you a negative review and I hope you discontinue contacting me knowing you have my name on file.

Richard, Marcus and Adrian have just completed my carport and did an excellent job they came between 8 and 9am, and worked hard until after 5pm. They were polite and friendly a pleasure to have on my property I am very happy with their work.

Disgusting. Did some extremely overpriced work for my grandad. Had him sign paperwork to say he was capable of making the decision which he clearly wasn't. Hounding daily now trying to sell insulating spray for the house. THEY ARE CON ARTISTS BEWARE!!!

Horrendous experience from start to finish. Nearly 8 weeks to ‘complete’ a tiny bathroom and even then it still wasn’t finished properly. In the end I paid the balance as I was sick of going back and forward and decided to get all the snags fixed myself. A horrendous mess was left by the electrician who only came to fit some spotlights but decided to open all upstairs doors before drilling so every room was thick with dust. Left in an absolute state over Christmas and new year. Lost count of the amount of times they came back to fix something and left more scratches, holes and mess from poor siliconing. Would 100% never recommend. Would be more than happy to share the pictures

Billy came by to look at what needed doing and give us advice and a quote.He was absolutely brilliant. The house needed re-pointing, and the gutters needed re-doing, and a new down-pipe and hopper put in. The advice given was very professional, unlike other contractors we´ve had, and the work was first rat, as was the service.The pointers (Arne and Shaun) were very good, tidy, polite and very professional, and always tidied up after themselves at the end of the day.The same can be said about mate who did the guttering, removing the tree that was growing out of the chimney, and resealing the windows, and adding trimming which the company that installed the windows should´ve done but hadn´t, which caused damages over time.Dave, who did the plastering, re-coping the the chimney, minor pointing and fixing a slipped tile was so efficient, polite and tidy, as they all were, it was a pleasure to work with them.Although slightly more than I would´ve liked to have paid, considering how well the job was done, and all the preventative measures, i.e. to make the job last longer, unlike other contractors, I can safely say, that Star-Renovations are a pleasure to work with, and well worth the extra dosh, for the peace of mind and a perfect job.I give Star Renovations a five star rating without reservation, and would highly recommend them. Moreover, I will definitely use them for the other projects that need doing. They are my one stop shop for all the trade work in the future, as they only employ tradesmen that do a good job.

We had our conservatory roof replaced. The original date for the work to be done was missed due to the weather, but an alternative date was arranged, and the work was done a few days later. The work was completed in a professional manner, and we are very pleased with the result.
