Such a disappointment (given the prices and fairly decent tables the club has) and definitely not a place to bring children. Extremely intimidating atmosphere and not family friendly. Brought my 10 and 12 year old snooker loving sons to this club for around 6-8 weeks but had no option but to leave after putting up with weeks of swearing and even threats from some miserable middle aged players at other tables. While some players did stop swearing (and some even apologised directly to the kids) when I asked them politely to stop swearing in front of the children others wanted to fight me (!) and even told me I shouldn’t be bringing children to an adult snooker club ! Gave some honest feedback to the owner of the club as to why we don’t feel safe there, but instead of taking it as constructive criticism he seemed to take personally, bizarrely going on to defend their behaviour saying people speak like that all the time at school and football matches. Fine my boys will not go where they are not welcome and hopefully will not be put off snooker by talentless middle aged knuckleheads who try to give the game a bad reputation.

Use to play here many years ago , went back recently for a few frames . Much the same as back then , not that big a snooker club but would recommend popping in for a frame or whatever you feel . Best phoning to see if busy and how long you can have .

Cracking proper snooker club - tables well cared for and good layout. Plently of good players play here. If I lived nearer then this would be my local.

Best snooker club in Edinburgh. Play weekly there. Brian is a great Host. All players are well mannered and polite. Prices are good. Pies are awesome too.

Clean well set out snooker club where there is a bar with hatch access to the snooker area and a seated area separated from the snooker area. Tables are well kept with spare cues and chalk available so if you forget to take along your own cue there are quite a few available, and in good condition. Friendly staff good range of drinks. Busy area, parking could be a bit tricky. Would have given it 5 stars but they don't take credit cards, only real money..fortunately we always carry money as a backup. We will return.
