Holly put together a beautiful, bespoke humanist ceremony for us that was praised by people of all backgrounds who came to our wedding. Throughout the process, Holly was friendly, supportive, and had lots of helpful ideas to make our day extra special. She managed to weave our ramblings together into a meaningful and unique ceremony.

I could honestly not recommend Holly enough!! She made our wedding so special and undeniably ‘us’. From the first zoom meeting we had a gut feeling about Holly, she was so welcoming and took great care and attention to detail in getting to know us, helping us decide on a ceremony that truly reflected us and making the whole day perfect. Thank you Holly for being our celebrant in July. We knew when we were planning our wedding that we didn’t want a traditional registrar service. We met with a few celebrants but we clicked with none of them like we did with Holly - even over zoom. We felt like Holly really listened to our story during our meetings and she captured the essence and detail of our relationship perfectly. The addition of a ring warming during our ceremony was so amazing and we have received so many comments on how personal and meaningful our wedding celebration was. After quite a bit of research, my now wife (still getting used to that!), Sophie and I, decided that a humanist wedding ceremony was the right option for us. We weren’t sure exactly what to expect, but we liked the idea of a personal ceremony. After browsing felt like hundreds of celebrant profiles, we stumbled upon Holly’s and knew straight away that she was the right one!Holly is even more warm and smiley in real life than she is in her lovely website photos. From the moment we reached out to her, she put us at ease and guided us through a process we knew very little about!Holly came to our home to hear our story, which we were a little apprehensive about telling as it is not something you do everyday but Holly’s friendly inviting nature had us blabbing away within minutes. We didn’t stop for about 2.5 hrs, all the while Holly listened and made notes. The whole thing was one of the most uplifting parts of planning our wedding and we were sad to say goodbye to Holly at the end!Within an impressively short amount of time, Holly sent us our ceremony script, complete with all the things we’d worked with her to put in so that it was just right for us. Holly seemed to read our minds and created the perfect blend of traditional and personal. The way she turned our story into words was nothing short of a work of art! The detail she retained and included was incredible and we were both had tears of joy as we read it.As the event approached, Holly worked with us to finalise many of the details and her experience was invaluable as she helped us with so many things we hadn’t thought of. She was so reassuring to my wife, who is naturally quite shy and so was nervous about standing in front of so many people. Holly even visits our venue a few days before the wedding, despite it being quite a drive away, and we were grateful to walk through how everything would work with her on the day.The big day arrived and Holly was simply wonderful! The beautiful script she had written had moments of humour and emotion that our guests loved. She was confident and professional and had a warmth that we haven’t seen at most church weddings. The ceremony couldn’t have been more perfect and we have Holly to thank for that. Holly was an excellent celebrant for our wedding, to the point even the guests told us afterwards how incredible she was!Our wedding day started off very chaotic due to disorganisation on the venues part, however she really helped reassure and calm us prior to walking down the aisle which we are highly grateful for.The speech she wrote was perfect and she created a beautiful ceremony for us that blew our registry office ceremony the year prior out of the water! I couldn't recommend Holly highly enough and advise anyone thinking of booking her to not hesitate.

Holly was the celebrant at our wedding in Warwickshire in Sept '21.We found her to be extremely professional, fun & so easy to work with.From our initial introduction on Zoom, our draft script writing at a local coffee shop (Holly came to us) to our wedding rehearsal (again, Holly came to our house) and especially on the day of our wedding, Holly has proven herself to be extremely well organised and attentive.What really attracted us to humanist ceremonies is the complete creative licence it offers to the wedding couple. We get to define the ceremony time, how it is structured, the sermon (for want of a better word), the readings, vows and little symbolic activities within the ceremony itself. Having the services of a creative, expressive and highly literate celebrant gives you peace of mind when you have the opportunity to craft the ceremony script and Holly made this particularly effortless through Google Drive.Of course we are biased towards Holly's services as we had an incredible day & memorable ceremony. However, feedback from our wedding party was also highly appreciative with many agreeing the freedom of a humanist ceremony was the way to go forward!In summary, we highly recommend humanist ceremonies & Holly's professional services. Holly was amazing!She was the celebrant for our wedding (which was somewhat of a fusion wedding, reflecting two different cultures) and she did such a perfect job.Our initial meeting was thorough where Holly wanted to learn all about us as a couple. She then wrote a draft script and we looked at it and drafted it a few times. (Just some minor changes, nothing major! It was already so perfect to begin with).Leading up to the wedding, Holly was always happy to help and give advice. She ensured that everything was sorted for the ceremony- I knew that I could trust her to make sure everything went smoothly!All our guests commented on how wonderful Holly was: her delivery, her words and her genuine happiness to be there.We cannot thank Holly enough for playing such a huge part of our perfect day.
