This was my first time in this branch it was at Halloween. The staff had all dressed up as something that wasn't scary to younger customers. The service was great and the food arrived warm and fast. I watched how the staff interacted with a customer who had special needs and it was great to watch as they talked to him and made sure his coffee was just right, top marks too this branch and management team.

Witnessed the staff deal with a particularly difficult customer at drive through today who was being extremely unreasonable. The girl at the window with it efficiently and very well. Usually get quick and prompt service here and staff are polite and well trained

I'll start by saying I've not been a fan of McDonalds for a long time. Kids + wife choose to get food here; as per usual no milkshake and had to go and wait for food - I love the way they do this after you've ordered and paid so you can't decide its not worth it. It used to work when it was fast food but I can' recall a time when I wasn't made to wait far longer than necessary (and this is not due to weird orders, its for chicken nuggets and maybe a QTR pounder)

This branch at Knocknagoney consistently forgets items from your order. In the last 7 orders, there have been 5 of them with missing items. Tonight I ordered £30 of food and due to not feeling well, I didn't check it. I drove home to find the Philly cheese burger was missing.Drove back and stood at the payment counter for 15 minutes before anyone approached me. They walked into the kitchen and 10 seconds later, appeared with the burger. It was cold so they obviously knew it wasn't in the order and had been sitting.Got home and by this point, all the food was freezing cold. From ordering until I finally got home with the completed order was 55minutes. The Cheese steak is literally a brioche bun with 2 small hamburger patties. More meat in my toe than this rip off. Save your money or get a quarter pounder which has more good for less money.Last time I go to this place. Mistakes can happen, but it's the attitude of the staff as if the customer is being an inconvenience by expecting their order to be complete.

Was here just before 9pm . Took a little while for the order to be ready. The chips where warm which I love. The burgers could have done with being warmer though. This style of keeping the burgers in trays over hot water dosent seem to work. Makes them far slower than the 3 minutes they should be serving people

Maybe it's the early morning blues or whatever, but I just think the overall staff weren't focused on the job. I requested hot chocolate, and it came out weak and not sweet. I told the staff about it and he returned with same thing.It may be the machine, but that wasn't the taste of hot chocolate, staff could have made effort but they just seem not to care much.

Almost 20 minutes waiting on our food, in the end had to ask for a refund. I could not recommend this McDonalds to anyone as it was a complete shambles. The area next to the tills had people everywhere with no clue what was happening with their order, not 1 member of staff looking after them and they also turned the screen off that gives the order status.1st time ever using this McDonalds and definitely the last. A shame as from the outside it looks like 1 of the better 1s, if only they had the service to match

*I have had a love-hate relationship with McDonalds for most of my adult life.Most branches are very similar other than for size and some features. This is the way it should be, of course, so that you and I know what to expect, and therein lies the rub - I know what to expect, and it's always 'either-or'.Either the food will be cold or it will be hot. To be fair and to be more specific, McDonalds has three offerings for its customers when it comes to food: cold (10% of the time), lukewarm (80%), and hot (10%).I prefer hot but maybe I am weird. For some strange reason, I like my food hot. I rarely get cold fries, although that happens, but the common offering to me is lukewarm.Today was no different. I got a large Big Mac meal and when I opened the bag and tasted the first fry, well, you get it - that old familiar lukewarm in a style that only McDonalds can replicate.Question 1: why should it be that 80% of the time my fries are barely lukewarm? Is this what most customers prefer?Question 2: why must I always ask for napkins and salt in the drive thru? Every time.Staff? They were fine. I have no issues there.Car Parking: plenty of spaces.Toilets: Clean.You may wonder why I go to McDonalds when I gripe about it. You may especially wonder this if you are living in the United States. The answer is simple: I can drive from one end of the UK to the other, and from one end of Ireland to the other, while encountering very little fast food choice. I am always amazed at the wide choice of different fast food restaurants in the US.Oh, to live in a parallel universe where McDonalds serves hot fries - every time. Ordered online (receipt attached) and didn’t receive my nuggets, one of the happy meals, and triple cheeseburger had lettuce instead of bacon. About £10 worth of unreceived food, do not recommend.

Found this McDonald’s to be slower than others.Got my order wrong and would only rectify with a receipt which didn’t print from the machine. So had to wait until this was retrieved from the machine to I guess prove my order?By the time I received my correct burger, I had already finished the rest of my meal. No apology given but was told to check the burger while she watched to make sure it was correct.Waited a good 15/20 mins for a mini McFlurry as well.
