Best lakes in the UK. Stunning place baillifs are always very helpful. Shop has everything you need. Toilets spotless every time I've been. And the fish are out of this world absolutely stunning. Can't wait for next trip well worth the 300 miles round trip.

1st time on the complex and was pleasantly surprised.Granted we arrived sun (bank hol) and finding a swim wasn't an issue. So jumped on some fish in the shallow bank on feeding fish, landing a few between our group, by mon afternoon, could've based on ANY OF THE WATERS Inc Kingy and Swan but as cought and was on fish stayed on sandy. Loved the chilled vibe and beautiful surroundings, made it feel less serious than other tricky venues I fish, which in turn made me feel more confident of a bite. Which was well founded after 2 more STUNNING FISH.

My partner does the fishing but I go to these lakes once a year with him for a peacefully break . There is lovely family who run it although I think they have a Spencer who now runs the bait shop . Excellent toilets and showers for ladies and disabled and good showers and toilets for males . It has a lot off diffrent lakes each stocked with very good fish . Your can have one guest at a charge off £5 per night . Fishing prices carry depending on how many rods . Good distance between pegs so therefore privacy . If I won the lottery I'd live there but for now I'll have to just have my one week off peace . Dogs also welcomed.

Great day ticket/annual priced venue. Top end £££ wise but worth it considering the stock.

I'm not an angler but I planned an ad-hoc visit there to see a friend who certainly is.He caught a large Cyprinus Carpio within minutes of my arrival which was good, as he'd been there a few days without a great deal of success.Good facilities at the office building with clean toilets and shower and an anglers shop also all in a remote part of the countyside I never knew existed.
