Monkey Puzzle Chadwell Heath Day Nursery & Preschool

100% recommend to any parents contemplating where to send their child for nursery. The management team and ladies that look after my little one have been amazing from day one. Since starting here my son has developed his speaking, social interactions, eating habits and is now nearly fully toilet trained! Thank you so much to all the staff here :)

Really wonderful nursery... My daughter has been attending since the age of 2 and speaks very highly of her experiences. The staff are all very lovely and welcoming. They are supportive and ensure the children are happy and safe. Being sent photos of activities being done during the day brings a smile to my face. They have a chef on site who provides different meals daily which is good for variety. I would highly recommend this nursery!

Fantastic nursery with really polite and lovely staff. I could not be more pleased with this nursery. My daughter has developed so much since starting Monkey Puzzle which is evident as everyday she comes home having learnt something new! They have been extremely supportive with my daughter’s toilet training, and constantly keep me up to date with her learning and development progress. Highly recommend Monkey Puzzle!

I’m so pleased with the services from this nursery. I viewed 3 other nurseries before settling on Monkey Puzzle as they were so welcoming. My daughter has attended since she was 5 months old. Being so young I was nervous but the nursery is constantly making me feel as ease. Always updating the app, I can see what she eats and how much, naps, nappy changes and daily pictures too so I know she’s okay! The girls that work there are always so lovely and any worries I have are reassured straight away, my little girls key worker Michaela is lovely and I can’t thank the 3 managers Danielle, Yemi and Chelsea as they have been so welcoming to us. I couldn’t rate this nursery any higher. Thank you so much.

Went to visit this place when considering putting our baby in baby room. Was told during settling in period the parent isn't allowed to stay with the child. This is incredibly poor practice and I cannot imagine the trauma this would cause a 10 month old. This tells me that they don't want parents around because they have something to hide. My visit was around 5pm when most parents pick their children up and whilst leaving, I noticed that they had children in another room gathered round watching a cartoon on the telly. Management show you what they do with the kids but I am doubtful if that's what really happens. Shame as the space seemed nice.

My son spent the last 2-3 years at Monkey Puzzle Chadwell heath. As most toddlers always apprehensive at first. But the team showed great care and persistency with him and was able to settle him in within a matter of a couple of days. They have thought of everything from child safety to parents’ piece of mind. Allowing constant communication via an app, sharing pictures of daily activities, logging every meal consumed, accident reporting, prescribed medicine assistance. And really making every effort to have your child mentally prepared for their next chapter in life (school). I highly rate this nursery, and if theres ever a number two child I would use them again. I just wanted to write this so every other parent looking to bring their children here will avoid this place. Me and partner brought our daughter here. She had settle in sessions and only came for 2 days full time. Unfortunately during our time here myself or my partner wasnt allowed to stay with our daughter during her settling in period. The staff had kept the baby milk and several items without informing us. We had to chase and ask where the items was and to properly check everything is in her bag before we left. We had been assured everything is in the bag to then have staff run and hand over my daughters medicine. We have left thjs place but they still have my daughters containers which they had failed to inform us of. My daughter contracted ringworm, conjunctivitis and adenovirus from this place. They fail to have good practice and hygiene in place. They allow kids who are unwell to attend this place. We had witnessed this and staff who looked unwell as well. My daughter had to be admitted to hospital due to this virus and back to back colds. When I did contact and inform them of us. They stated this had not been done purposely. To reiterate if good practice and hygiene had been put in place as promised then my daughter would not have had to be addmited to the hospital.
