I've never eaten at a Miller & Carter before and I have to say it was one massive disappointment.At £21.25 their Steakhouse Dirty Burger" sounded incredible on the menu but what came to the table was indeed dirty - a small and sad looking burger (on a cold plate) 'wiv' tasteless chips fresh from a freezer bag. The food was great, the service was also decent, my issue was with the seating. They sat us in the corner by the toilets/kitchen. We was clearly baking hot as me and my partner was fan’ing ourselves constantly. You would think that was a big enough hint to maybe open a door or move us from the baking hot kitchen. But no unfortunately we sat and ate our food in the baking heat dropping with sweat. Really uncomfortable

Great care given by Staff, food was cooked to perfection.The only feedback I feel I could give that could help to make the experience better would be to sit large groups especially those with children in an Area away from Couples looking to enjoy a peaceful night.Myself and Husband really enjoyed the service provided and the food was amazing and Kelly our waitress was extremely attentive.We came to get away from it all and we could hear tablets being played at full volume and kids being kids that ruined the ambience a little.

Had not been here for some years and wanted somewhere special for my 80th Birthday so thought we'd try it, well was not disappointed. Wife & I were greeted by a young lady with a lovely smile and took to a table at the back near the fire as I said I was cold. Lovely cosy place, food excellent and service by Kelly who was very attentive. Perfect end to a lovely day. Thank you.

Very enjoyable evening spent at Miller & Carter Chigwell.Great atmosphere and the staff are very attentive.Food was superb.We enjoyed starters of sticky chipotle chicken, scallops with chorizo and halloumi fries.Mains of a rump steak cooked to perfection and sea bass fillets with dauphinoise potatoes, Mediterranean vegetables and a pea puree.Thank you for a sublime evening and a great dining experience.

We had a good experience here with the family. This branch which I hadn't even heard of has more of a country pub vibe. The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating for our three families and kids and we're kind enough to tailor the meals to specific preference.The food, as you'd expect from Miller and Carter was very good. Cooked as you liked it and tasty even for those that like to ruin their steaks by having them well done. All in all another positive experience and a restaurant I'd recommend for large family gatherings.

Visited for my birthday yesterday. Service is spot on, our waiter was great 100%! Unfortunately our steaks arrived overcooked. I had a calamari starter which was fresh and tasty. Both myself and wife ordered rib-eye medium, however when they arrived they were both well done. Our waiter for the evening had this sorted without any fuss whatsoever. New steaks arrived, still slightly overdone but bloody gorgeous nonetheless. Definitely my favourite miller and carter venue!
