Fantastic garage door repair service!The cable snapped on our 35 yr old garage door, which was also pretty seized up. I contacted Paul based on all the great reviews. Paul came out on the bank holiday and managed to repair and service the door in around an hour. It works like new!Perfect example of of how you hope a local trade service would be. My experience with AA Aldridge to install a new build garage door was excellent from start to finish. Paul the business owner attended to carry out the measurement survey and was very polite and professional. It was self evident, that he had significant experience and he exuded the confidence of an old school specialist tradesperson who genuinely cared about doing a quality job. The initial positive contrast with another National garage door firm who also attended to quote was stark. There was a delay from my side in regards to an install date but the communication around this was good and Paul was flexible and helpful to work to a timeline that suited us. On the day of installation Paul and his colleague worked very efficiently to install the door with care and attention. The end result is a quality door installed by a firm that clearly takes pride in their work, whilst providing an end to end experience that quite frankly is lacking today from the majority of businesses I encounter.AA Aldridge is a smaller business that provide a first class, personal service, and they really go above and beyond to look after their customers. We accidentally closed our garage door with the wheelie bins underneath - causing the door to jam half way closed (unable even to operate it manually). I called about 1pm and Paul was with us before 3. We've used Paul before and the service is friendly, reliable and fair. We were relieved to have our door working again that afternoon rather than being left exposed overnight.
